All Blacks v Argentina II

I had a lot of hope for Razor, but honestly we’re lacking the basic structure that someone like Schmidt brings. Our play may have been more conservative under someone like that, but we’d have better fundamentals. He’s blooded a few new players, but essentially playing the same team/plan as Foster. Very disappointed with the lack of progression. Some areas have gone backwards.

They made Fozzie sack his assistants (albeit from a worse position after a series loss to Ireland). Maybe the NZRU need to have a word with Razor about his assistant coaches now.
I actually wonder did Razor sack the wrong coach when he dumped Rangi MacDonald, I strongly suspect that the problem maybe in the back coaches we got?

Hope Ratima, Hotham and Roigard are back soon or with another injury we are in real poo at 9
Ratima can take his time.....
Ratima’s kicking awful.

This looked like the worst of the foster era today

He didn’t dump him, Leon walked. Tbh I was surprised he was there in the first place, as they’d fallen out previously

To be fair losing in Argentina was always going to happen... we have gotten out of jail over there many times since I can remember. And they have already beaten us in nz which is a bigger milestone for them.
It's the performance by us that is worse than the actual loss. -

Bring in Schmitt after RC he is available then.
Read Foster's book and you'll begin to understand why Schmidt wanted nothing to do with the AB's after RWC2023
Old school?
NZR's relationship with the players was not good to put it mildly - money and marketing came before almost anything else.. And the treatment of the team management was simply appalling. Schmidt clearly had had enough.
Might to a mini book review and post it somewhere.

Last 20 minutes was terrible.
Panicking, no leadership, brain farts.I thought it was more they didn’t execute the basics well enough. They had field position, then didn’t win the lineout. Relieved pressure. When it went 26-20, they just needed to settle, kick for territory and squeeze the Pumas into a mistake (which they were making).
As it was, their exits were poor and they compounded that with yet another YC. One YC in a game is bad. But three!!! ABs may be the most carded team right now, but they have earned the reputation. Got to own it now and stop doing stupid shit. Hit lower, don’t change your line, don’t flap at the ball on your goal line!

Jeez fellas. Where the fuck do we go from here?
We are in trouble and could lose every RC game from here on unless we make changes.
What exactly should those changes be?
New wingers Carter,Clarke if he's fit,a change at Reserve hooker McAlister in the 23 change the First five D Mac starts and a new mid fielder,Tupea,
Sitii starting at 8,Savea to the bench, better playing Kirifi.
And organise a more direct game plan. -

So nothing to do with Razor himself, actually about the NZRFU.

How many 100 cap milestones have we lost?
Ardie’s 100th will be the next game. Bugger.

The way Schmidt has turned things around with the Wallabies the ego is understandable
