It's probably been covered already, but what's happened to Folau Fakatava? Do the coaches not like him?
It’s sounding like he could possibly be on his way to camp based off what someone just messaged me. Be interesting to see if it’s accurate or if it's announced.
Update: They could also be pulling my leg so any updates I get I’ll post as it happens.

It seems weird if true why they would want a 4th HB.

I hope so. I don't know why he's been frozen out like this.

Kyle Preston potentially injured too. what sort of halfback curse does NZ have at the moment

Kyle Preston limped off training with an injured ankle so Xavier Roe is likely to be in the AB 23 for Saturday.
When it rains it pours.

And we thought 4th 1st five eighth was pushing it ...
I see similarities between Christie and Beaver , a couple of maligned players , knocked for their skill level but I think it’s fair to say if we look for positives don’t lack ticker physically.

Watching Razor in press conferences is very interesting. I like his energy, he often makes an effort to engage positively with the person (with a a smile or a quip) who posed the question and he's so polite. He's kind of a breath of fresh air since so.many coaches can be grumpy and curt. The downside is sometimes he seems to get tripped up in what he is trying to say and he lacks the poise of say, Steve Hansen. I noticed the South African journalist who asked him about the Eden Park record really seemed to throw him off.
It seems like he would be better off taking questions with another coach alongside him or a NZR official with him to help navigate them .

@nonpartizan I do like him. He's energetic, enthusiastic, personable and charismatic
On the negative side he seems to think he's smarter than he is.....

Very good podcast with Jimmy Marshall interviewing Du Plessis Kirifi, the growth in Kirifi over the last couple of years is an example for many young kids to look up to. From a rat bag to one of the best leaders in the game. Definitely worth a listen.

Gut-feeling this test comes down to how the Barrett brothers go. If they don’t turn up, we are toast - and I think it is the beginning of the end for Beauden and Scott if they don’t
Scooter is Robertson's man and Robertson is Mark Robinson's man.
Can't see him being dropped.

Mark Robinson is out the door in a few months. Things could get very interesting if it goes downhill - a new CEO who didn't appoint Razor + David Kirk who didn't appoint Razor....

Let's hope the new CEO doesn't get all possessive and undermine the coach as he wasn't his man.
Then again, if Robertson continues to under-perform....
