The Storm would be stupid to field a full strength side, as would a lot of the 8. I think the teams in the lower half of the 8 will be hoping Souths get up as they'd much rather play the Dolphins than Roosters come finals time.
Brisbane's win over the Cows showed why they won't win the comp. They leak tries and continue to clock out of games for large periods of time. They'll get punished by better sides.
Broncos are a different side when Reynolds plays as he organizes their defense well (not saying he defends well though lol) , he will be back week one of finals. Not suggesting they win playing one of the top three but I do give them a better chance when he plays.
You're correct on his defence as he's good at reading the back door plays and shoots up to block it, and even if he doesn't make the tackle, he stops the play in its tracks. He's got a good footy iq.
They just for me, clock off too often in games and it hasn't been fixed. They're lethal when they get it right, but teams in the finals won't be as forgiving. They have to be more than a 40 min side in the finals to go all the way and I do like to watch them play.

Rocco Berry diet
-
Warriors serving up some mad Monday shit right here… they have well and truly shit the bed
-
Somehow still in this but have no right to be. Healey looking ominous, Erin Clark solid, Charnze ok everyone else clocked off early after 9 secs..
-
Warriors season is done, doesn’t matter who we play next week, we won’t be winning.
We should be happy we made the top 8 I guess, but limping into the finals on the back of a few bad losses against bottom 8 teams has taken the wind right out of the sails.
If we’re serious about winning a few more games and moving up the ladder, we need a new right edge.
I’m a Rocco Berry fan, but he’s made of glass.
DWZ thanks for the great service, but time to sail off into the sunset. -

That was comedy gold, crap defensive play then injures himself by his own unco-ness.
Glad I had a meeting this afternoon which meant I couldn't get over to Brookvale in time for this match (I get a members seat from a mate for Warriors matches).

I fell asleep on the couch, have watched the last 15 minutes and we've been pretty energetic albeit with a lack of precision and creativity on attack. In true Wahs style it's all too little too late. Meanwhile the ref has gone YC crazy and binned Turbo and Jazz (deserved), DWZ might have touched down in the corner on the hooter and Boyd converts from the sideline. Wahs lose to a DCE left foot DG. Fark
-
Given we were gifted the fastest try ever at the start, the scoreline is probably flattering. Warriors have some good moments, but as always not the consistency.
Plus the defensive gift that is DWZ. Hard to think of many who've ever been so constantly hapless at positioning.
-
Jazz Tevaga did his best to get the Wahs over the line in the last 10. Gave away a forward pass that changed the momentum, fell asleep at marker for the Sam Healey try, then got binned at the end.
Possibly his best game for the Wahs.

Manly are an enigma. They patches of the prettiest football, and score a bunch of 40m tries.
And then for half an hour they will just suck.
Last night they brought us back in to it.The team is pretty average. There aren't many backs i would keep if we're serious. Some good forwards and i like the young dummy half.
Go find more young backs because ours are cooked.Penrith will flog us next week

And it'll be tougher for the Wahs next year I feel as teams are getting better, whilst the Wahs have a bit of an aging teammixed with journeymen.
They've overachieved massively this year, but next year, I'm thiking they're looking at about 12th-13th.

They should probably push forward with the youth movement. Funny how we can't find young quick wingers at the moment, we used to be a conveyor belt for them
-
Souths and Eels in to the 8 means 2 have to drop out. We're definitely most vulnerable.
-
Agree, we have the worst centres in the NRL, aging second rowers play better for us there. Wingers have great work rate but have far too many flaws. Our halves were also awful last night as well. Ironically we do have some decent talent like Sio Kali but they keep looking elsewhere. Hence we bought a busted souths winger for next year lol

Not wrong.

I think we have one big game left in us before season end. It’s our year

Right I’m calling my ranking early for this before pre season ends, needless to say a bit controversial at the bottom end. To be honest I think you could throw a blanket over the bottom seven.
Storm
Sharks
Panthers
Broncos
Sea eagles
Bulldogs
Rabbitohs
Dolphins
Raiders
Cowboys
Dragons
Roosters
Tigers
Eels
Warriors
Titans
KnightsSo I get a few right this year especially highlighting bottom of the table, where normally it’s 0%. . But missed Raiders and Warriors for sure and Wayne’s Bunnies definitely worst call at the top end.
Biggest miss not putting money on Knights getting the spoon
