I didn't see his tackle count but I'm guessing it is one of the higher ones.

I think the best answer given where we are now is to keep Robertson, but to have a clear out the assistants as soon as possible apart from Jason Ryan and to search the globe for the best coaches who are willing to work with this All Blacks team for the money NZR have available. These coaches aren't good enough.
How will NZ coaches get international opportunities in future when they aren’t seen to be at the forefront of innovation anymore?
I think we will see more South Africans in overseas coaching jobs in the coming years, precisely because they are seen to be leading the game.

There are deeper underlying issues being discussed than just 'how many points were scored with this player on the field'.
If you suggest we keep Beauden at 10, don't complain when we look completely toothless on attack, static, and have any player from 12 onwards getting the ball and defender at the same time.

I don't have much to say other than it was so refreshing to watch DMac at 10 not kicking away possession with those speculative shitty chip kicks that are beadens specialty. . And also setting up his outside backs.
I honestly think that type of shift (30 mins) is the best you can get out of Beauden - the longer he plays the more his play diminishes. He can't give you a good 80 minutes.

Savea is our Kwagga Smith, could be awesome off the bench when the game opens up and he doesn't have to put in a full day at the office.

Lakai had a decent cameo. He’s a better 7 than Savea overall. He just needs to work on his 1-2 clutch plays per game to usurp Savea
Maybe play Lakai at 7, not 8.
I liked what I saw from Lakai tonight more than what Kirifi has offered tbh.

Just don’t get him to take the kick when a playoff game is on the line. Missed two for the Canes in playoffs (both games against the Brumbies) and one for the ABs in the last WC final.
I’m happy with DMac to take the close kicks and Jordie to bang them from longer range.

Jordie can’t replicate the tinny chip kick plays that Beauden does, where the ball bounces on its end and straight into his arms with the defence flat footed.
Then again, neither can Beauden since around 2018

Tamiti Ellison is a bigger thief drawing a coaching salary for defence than he was drawing a salary as a Super rugby player.
Have to admire a man who is defense coach of the Crusaders in their worst season in years and then slides into the All Black job and concedes record amounts of points but receives very little scrutiny for either.
He is the invisible man when it comes to accountability.
His interviews are Scott Hansen esque too.

Kicking in general play, kicking from penalties or goal kicking? Agree that Jordie is better at all of them.
