All Blacks 2025

Well Holland already jumped/pushed.
Hansen, Ellison to go?...but again, who comes in for these guys? Cupboard seems bare right now.
What's worse, is the shit show extends beyond this coaching team, NZR has shit on thier hands, right back to how Foster was appointed, how Razor was appointed and the whole process.

Parker, Finau, Jacobson, Sititi - all complete failures this year from the Chiefs. Same players responsible for their team having a record loss in the 2024 SR final, a loss in the 2025 quarter final, and didn't fire a shot in 2025 final.
Picking all four of them was insane. To make matters worse, the retard coach picked Vaai at 6 too. No imagination, let alone intelligence or analytical ability.
Good lord, what a shit group of players.
chiefs were only team to pick big 6s , next year looks like other teams are going to as well, may the best big win

we do have a forward pack that can compete with anyone
Except England and Sth Africa - and poss. Argentina.
What's worrying is Ryan has done a great job with the tight 5, players selected by Foster have been developed and new talent like Holland brought into the team - yet they still go to shit for extended periods regularly.
There's something very wrong with the headspace/culture of this team - and it isn't getting any better
-
@Victor-Meldrew You are arguing with an old boomer retard. The only person I have blocked on here.

@Tim said in All Blacks 2025:
Robertson, who is contracted to NZ Rugby through to the 2027 World Cup, is likely to be asked tough questions from the board when he returns Down Under.
If appointing Robertson/undermining Foster was a board decision, rather than a Mark Robinson solo decision, I wouldn't count on it.

In 2004, Henry took over an ABs team with a lot of psychological hang-ups.
Struggled in SA, went to NH and destroyed France. Best game I have attended in person.
This was a game in which we didn't have better players overall, but we out coached them easily. We need to move on from these dunces, and have smart coaches now

Money aside, I think this is a little different to Foster. Possibly easier to just sweep house then trying to make this regime work.
Because I am a nice guy, I have been holding off upon making a post about you. You were such a Scott Robertson sycophant that you made a post saying that Ian Foster shouldn't be the AB coach because he was a Christian.
You were so ridiculed that you deleted your account and made a new one.
Now your new thing is to post that Caleb Clarke should be dropped because he plays for the Blues. You are absolute dumb garbage.

@frugby and why havnt the coaches improve to parts that need working on
I think we all agree that the ABs coaches aren’t exactly pulling their weight right now
-
@frugby said in All Blacks 2025:
@Tim Some quite crazy (untrue) accusations here. Have you quoted the wrong thing?
Absolutely true. Same IP addresses etc. You posted bullshit about Foster, and its from the same IP etc that you say that there is no alterative other than supporting Robertson
-
@Tim I was a Scott Robertson fan yep and have changed my mind because I’ve seen evidence which has made me change my opinion . This is a forum people have opinions and disagree, it isn’t exactly parliament.
I changed my account name not long after I started using this forum, yep, never deleted my account, and it wasn’t down to anything other than wanting a slightly different name hence why it is basically the same.
The rest of that? Absolute horseshit mate hope you enjoy your day.

France sending their C team may have just saved Razor's arse. I think they would have beaten us with their top team and exposed this team even further. 5-6 losses and he wouldn't have survived past this year. With 3 losses this season, the gutless NZR will most likely choose to retain him. A tough couple of years coming up.
-
I dont like it but Robertson would stay even if we lost to Wales next week. He's not remotely at risk at the moment.
-
I think it is fair to say that we have gone nowhere since last year. And last year was very disappointing.
Our tactics remain poor.
Our abilities on both sides of the contested kick remain really poor.
Our scrum may have got worse.
Our lineout is good, primary targets are better with Holland coming through, but it seems more dependent on Taylor than ever, and we still lack a genuine target in the loosies.
The loosies continue to be outplayed by all comers (or get parity at best) which is quite confronting when we've had the luxury of being dominant in the loose for about 40 years. We've gone from not enough power to not enough workrate.
Our backline as a unit is nothing short of terrible. We can't attack, and...
Our defence is shithouse and disorganised.
There is no composure. There is nothing clinical or ruthless. We make way too many errors.
You could make a reasonable case that the biggest improvement this year for the ABs, is that Jordie Barrett came back from Ireland a better player i.e. someone else's coaching. On the upside, everyone new who has come in (mostly due to injury) has shown a degree of potential.
-
@akan004 its just a continuation of the struggles we have had since 2019, a good chunk of the blame can sit with NZR as well.
They have sat on thier hands allowing things to fester, not addressing shit at the lower levels, thats without looking at the appointment process and subsequent assistants.
Then we get to selections, game plans...
SHIT.SHOW undersells it.

except after he got back into our environment, he regressed again.

He did, the notable exception being a spike in form when (broken record) BB went off injured.
