@Bones had been pointing out weaknesses in Jordan's game for years. I agreed, but it was a lonely place until everyone else catches up that while there are real strengths but also real weaknesses

Jordan's weaknesses can be mitigated on the wing and he's a real threat there. At 15. he's exposed. Needs to be moved.

@Victor-Meldrew He seems like he thinks everything will just fall into place for him the way it has at lower levels and doesn’t understand why things aren’t going well. How can the players not be playing well when that’s what I want them to do?

From what I've seen, he looks like a rabbit in the headlights right now - isolated, lost and just a wee bit clueless where to turn.

You don’t believe me? Lol. I’ve only ever stated facts when it comes to AB’s info and a lot in here can confirm that. Not one to say something for the sake of it, but hey, please yourself.

@kiwiinmelb in this woke new world, does NZR have the courage to be brave?

When is it too late for nzr to deal with Razor if we dont see changes with his coaching entourage?

I mean with the SA tour looming, keep this shit up, it could be ugly.

I said it before, the more I hear the more I think his position is untenable. Rip the scab clean off, install JJ to try to rebuild the spirit of the group and some accountability before it's too late

    Absolutely.
The changing of an assistant changed nothing.
    He's gotta go.

I am told after Taylor's 100th in Argentina - only the Crusaders players in the squad went to his room to drink with him. I cannot say who the source is so take it as you will.

So we're back to the cliques of the Mitchell years (and previous) then.

Cliques yes. I can tell you last season was the exact same.

It looks like it. The most culpable clique are the coaches. Some serious surgery needs to be done there.

Haha is that how you interpreted that? Perhaps my old man humour is too subtle.

I’m not here to cast judgment on anyone. People can post whatever they want. It’s a public forum after all.

I look forward to the tell all on the next podcast or radio spot.

@ACT-Crusader We sure can. I’m not here to shit stir. Just here to share accurate information and discuss with other like minded rugby fans. Podcast or radio? Unsure where you’re heading with that one but I don’t think I am who you may think I am.

Either way, I’ll continue to share what I’m told. Whether you choose to believe it or not is entirely up to you. Cheers fella

@ShaquilleOatmeal The Ardie situation is arguably even tougher than the BB situation. It feels like the Barrett situation will run its course following this tour, where he physically is not up to it and its fairly obvious even to the lesser engaged fans. Beaudie could retire from international footy or just have an 'injury cloud' and fade into a much lesser role in the squad. Its not a hard decision for Razor to make.

Ardie on the other hand is actually still in seemingly great physical condition, but is just refusing to be a role player in the team. For one, its not immediately clear that the coaching staff even see this issue, but assuming they actually do some analysis on this - Razor has to either re-train him into actually peforming his core role (& him actually doing it on the field) or drop him for an actual 7 who can and will tackle and hit rucks all day. For a coach/organisation that seems to be so heavily dictated by broader influence, i dont see this happening until it becomes so bad that everyone starts to agree (as per BB situation) and even then all it takes is a short instagram snippet of a turnover or big dummie and the masses will be satisfied that all is well. I just cant see a situation where Ardie is dropped, and i cant see one where he changes his play. So will be a holding pattern through to the RWC

the wider public are finally starting to turn on BB and even Scott B

The wider public still think Ardie was unlucky not to get shortlisted for World Player of the Year (yep, i have seen calls like this) so there is no pressure.
Read comments sections, for every call that Savea is not doing his job there are 5 that want him to be captain because he's got Samoan pride and mana and dumb shit like that.
Staunch facials and sick social media can get you a long way these days. Beast mode!

Get the Ardie-should-be-dropped-to-the-bench argument and the Scooter argument. But I also think we play better when Ardie has the armband.

Which kinda begs the question who should really be captain? A fit(?) Patty T, Roigard (too early), Sititi (ditto), Jordie?

Yeah, think you're right. Vaa'i has matured hugely and Paps captaincy with the All Blacks XV may well be a pointer if serious changes come to pass.

Scooter in 2026 is sorting out his body, so there is a vacancy. RD wears the wrong specs for an AB skipper.

Vaa'i is a nailed on starter for me, and has matured well, as VM notes.
