Here’s an interesting question.
Were performances on the field below par because Razor didn’t have the dressing room OR did Razor lose the dressing room because results were sub par.
You wonder whether some players felt ostracised from the get-go as the Crusaders coaching staff rolled in? Perhaps Razor was always doomed to fail with that coaching group, and I don’t think that reflects on the man himself but on NZR for once again not doing due-diligence on the assistants.
Players are not robots. If there was a lack of perceived fairness, transparency, respect, of course this was going to affect team unity and ultimately on field performance. And players as a group were going to get down

@His-Bobness player reviews are conducted every year arent they?

If the rumours around Savea are true, even if he is, ‘right’ - he has to go. It just sets such a dangerous precedent.
Given he was always picked and as a captain, I can only imagine he was furious that the coaches had asked him to do loose forward work.

Dancing for joy if I'm honest.
So glad the fraud got his comeuppance.
Why are you dancing for joy? This is going to destroy NZ rugby for the foreseeable future. There is no obvious choice and it’s ignoring the rot that’s been there for 8-9 years. Unless most of the players group goes with him, this is for naught
The razor coaching group was already destroying nz rugby for the foreseeable future. Change had to be made.
Yes and Ardie and B Barrett were destroying it before that. Nothing changes unless they go
Well they came within a whisker of winning the world cup so it wasnt all bad before Razor but yes I take your general point
Not their fault they kept getting selected of course....

Seriously?
Yes. Too many in the media say him unthinkingly as a magic solution. There was bugger-all questioning of his ability at Test level for one thing.

I’m genuinely excited for Razor’s next move. Will he fade away into some consultancy job or turn up at Twickers with a Henry Pollock haircut?
Probably will start a podcast.

Ardie going to Europe is complete bullshit from his agent.
Leinster can't afford him (if they're paying him anywhere near the EUR 500k they're paying Jordie and Rieko.)
The Top 14 season is 30+ games long and get paid less than in Japan. They'd also expect him to hit a ruck as a loose forward.
Not many loose forwards hit rucks, that is what tighties or second arriving players do. Once a ruck is formed you should be fanning out to either attack or defend. Easy way out is too go and lean on a ruck when it's already decided , like a lot do!
I don't have an opinion on Ardie being in team, that's for coach, just don't agree with wanting dumb tactics like having players in rucks for no reason. I don't think you fellas have watched the Boks and how they hardly tie people up at breakdown, or do we when playing well. -
I'd love to see the smile on Sotutu's face right now.

Why Joseph? Aside from 2015 when he had two of the best players to ever play rugby, what about his coaching makes you think he’s a suitable super rugby coach, let along All Blacks coach? Outside of the attack of his teams, which is almost completely down to Tony Brown, what does he actually do?
NZ XV wasn't bad.

Akira, Dalton, Plummer, Lam, the list goes on.
