Have watched the crash several times now its obvious it was caused by clipping a flag which spun her body side ways. Its debatable if the blown ACL was a factor or not, its likely was to some degree.
But i think alot of people are reading the headlines and assuming her knee gave out which caused the crash. I know that was my first thought as well

I'm genuinely shocked Ric Flair is saying something nice about someone other than himself.

New event, Men's Team Combined (1 skier does Downhill, 1 skier does Slalom) where times are combined.

Another Swiss Gold for Franjo Van Allmen and first for Nef

Odermatt and Meillard (SUI) joint second with the Austrians Kriechmayr and Feller

I've not really got any thoughts on the Vonn incident, but I find it amusing Ric Flair is being put forward as someone to listen to.

First medal for NZ as Zoe Sadowski-Synnott gets the Silver in the Big Air

Fluffing her first run didnt help but she did great to nail the final 2.

I think they should make this a relay with a transition near the lift. First onto the chair gives a massive advantage!

it's worth noting that this wasn't her first ski at the games, they had practice runs, and Vonn was 3rd fastest.

Was that after sustaining the ACL injury?

She posted online earlier today stating it was her error and not the ACL injury that caused the crashed
She wrote she was 5 inches too tight in her line, clipping the gate.

that left leg of hers must just be a throbbing mess of pain and will be for some time
