    Deleted scene involving Chewy..

Crap scene IMHO. Not sure how a tub of lard like that could get the jump on Rey then defy the laws of physics in losing an arm to Chewie. I assume his species is really brittle?

The worst thing would be that tub of lard getting the jump on her, but shortly thereafter she beats the shit out of a Sith warrior.

Dude, he's a Knight of Ren. Get it right.

    #nerdalert

    Your point still stands though

No it doesn't. She beat a severely injured, half trained Non-Sith. One injured by a gun they spent the whole movie showing how powerful it was.

Talk him up all you want. Kylo Ren has a lot of work to do to in the next flick to persuade me he's not a big raving pussy.

I do hear that and get your point but I don't get how he is so high up the New Order hierachy? DV had the miles well and truly on the clock before he became a legitimate enforcer.

@MN5 I assume it's because compared with mere mortals he's a machine ... but we know that Rey is going to have uber midichlorians explaining why she can figure out how to tell James Bond to let her out of the torture chair and then put up a fight against Kylo Ren.

You could be right and you probably are its just him disagreeing with General Hux just seemed like a couple of EMOs arguing.

He is certainly no Moff Tarkin that's for sure.

@MN5 The Force Awakens is like Star Wars: The Younger Years with a younger version of Vader and Tarkin ... clearly thats what those two would have been like in the early days of the Empire.

Another good point but one gets the feeling the old boys woulda had a bit more presence but fuck me days the whole Snoke/Ren/Hux being a direct 'homage' ( to put it nicely ) to Palpatine/Vader/Tarkin is pretty damning. As always I'll have massive hopes for number 8 though.

I don't disagree, but I think we'll see some bad arsery from the in the darker 'Empire' version (although, are Disney up for two dark Star Wars movies in a row?)

I'd like to think the respective receptions for TFA vs RO would indicates yes.

@MN5 $2B v $1B and TFA is still well rated critically so not sure about that.

Really? The impression I've got it RO had it all over TFA from a critic's perspective.

Indeed. You'd imagine even a crippled Empire Luke could put up a better fight than that. Regardless, it would have been a bad look if Rey had been done over so easily by Fat Arse yet then proceeded to kick Rens hipster, jug eared arse.

@MN5 TFA has a 92% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes and Rogue One has 85%.

Out in December this year too! What a time to be alive, that's fucken three in THREE years after a horrible 16 year hiatus between 83 and 99.

Some might argue 2002 as AOTC was a much better flick overall.

I hope they're referring to Luke. If it's a reference to Rey and Luke gets knocked off in this film I will farking bomb Disney Land (after hours of course).

It definitely will be Luke. I like the name, better than the Force Awakens, has a nice B Movie feel to it.

As much I liked Rogue One, I much prefer the saga films with Jedis and lightsabers.
