Another good point but one gets the feeling the old boys woulda had a bit more presence but fuck me days the whole Snoke/Ren/Hux being a direct 'homage' ( to put it nicely ) to Palpatine/Vader/Tarkin is pretty damning. As always I'll have massive hopes for number 8 though.

I don't disagree, but I think we'll see some bad arsery from the in the darker 'Empire' version (although, are Disney up for two dark Star Wars movies in a row?)

Crap scene IMHO. Not sure how a tub of lard like that could get the jump on Rey then defy the laws of physics in losing an arm to Chewie. I assume his species is really brittle?
The worst thing would be that tub of lard getting the jump on her, but shortly thereafter she beats the shit out of a Sith warrior.

No it doesn't. She beat a severely injured, half trained Non-Sith. One injured by a gun they spent the whole movie showing how powerful it was.
Talk him up all you want. Kylo Ren has a lot of work to do to in the next flick to persuade me he's not a big raving pussy.
Indeed. You'd imagine even a crippled Empire Luke could put up a better fight than that. Regardless, it would have been a bad look if Rey had been done over so easily by Fat Arse yet then proceeded to kick Rens hipster, jug eared arse.

Out in December this year too! What a time to be alive, that's fucken three in THREE years after a horrible 16 year hiatus between 83 and 99.
Some might argue 2002 as AOTC was a much better flick overall.

It definitely will be Luke. I like the name, better than the Force Awakens, has a nice B Movie feel to it.
As much I liked Rogue One, I much prefer the saga films with Jedis and lightsabers.

There's a couple of decent female warriors in the EU or so my boys tell me. Asaaj Ventress and Komari Vosa to name a couple although they might be Dark Jedi as opposed to Sith?
