Can't believe breaking bad only has 2 eps left, season has gone by quickly! Interesting to see where they end it!

Also half way through season 1 of Battlestar Galactica, quite enjoying it, surprised I've never picked it up before...
Breaking Bad has been awesome. The train heist was gripping edge of the seat TV. Love how with that show out of nowhere it just punches you in the face sometimes.

BSG - one of my all time fav's - fracking great show and it gets better in the later seasons. Love the soundtrack to BSG, I often listen to it, the later seasons the music gets awesome too. Wish I could forget it all and watch it again!

SOA5 starts next week. No longer in the 'I can't wait' category but I'll still be watching it
Not a Tv show as such but high end TV show production values, has anyone been watching the WebSeries H+ by Brian Singer? I've just started on them and it's quite good watching.
Breaking Bad seems to only be 8 episodes for this season?? Finale is a bit of a let down now IMO....

although, not really a spoiler, but...
The opening scene from the 1st episode, where Walt has obviously bought a cache of guns, which is usually a preview of a scene form the series, has not happened yet...so maybe just a break?? Cant see to find anything

The season is broken into 2 sets of 8 episodes, pain in the arse! Next half season is down as 2013 from what I can tell <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/rugby/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />

I thought they finished episode 8 brilliantly, still the best series by far!

    When I look at IMDB it doesnt list a start date for 2013 <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/rugby/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />

I guess it was more that I didnt realise it was the finale when I think about it, alot came out of the last episode!

Series has been great alright, good old Walt!
I had said to my brother after ep 1 that I reckoned Walt was gonna have to kill Mike & Hank by the end of the season...he is buying into the power of creating his own empire and he is not worried about who gets in his way.
Maybe they split it as it is gonna be the final season?

SOA5. Just watched Ep1 and I really don't care if some people seem to think Sutter farked up with last season's ending, I like it. The characters are great and the subtle battle between Jax and Clay looks like it's going to be very good.
The series takes up where S4 left off and there are a couple of bullshit devices to tidy up some of the mess from last seasons convoluted mess, but it looks to be set up again for a good storyline.
Watching Clay shuffle around like a hunched over broken man while, all the time knowing that the cunning bastard is biding his time, is a real highlight and you can now see why killing him off would have been killing off the underlying story.
The story has a bit to run yet as S5 and S6 are confirmed with rumours that they lead to a S7 finish

I really didn't like most of last season. Thought it had a few good episodes but overall I didn't enjoy it.

Sorry I haven't scanned through this thread, but is anyone else watching Hell on Wheels? I started watching it last week and machine gunned the episodes. I like it very much. The characters are morally ambiguous, but interesting enough to keep me hooked.

Watched Season 1 and thought it became very formulaic very quickly. Have recorded S2 but not got round to watching it yet. Which TBF is my pattern. I have stuff I think I mite be interested and then give up part way through.. Homeland, Magic City, HoW, Newsroom the list is exhausting.

Did indulge my guilty Dr Who habit last nite.......
I liked it. A bit of a slow burner and a mixture of cartoon characters and others with depth. As I've mentioned before the cinematography alone is worth watching. Some of it is stunning.

It did take a little while to get going, but most new series do take a bit to settle. I haven't watched S2 yet, I saving a few up to do a run on them together.

Just a note on SOA5, if you haven't seen it already. Tig is just awesome with a very harrowing scene.
I can't get the scene out of my head. Pretty nasty stuff to see your daughter killed like that.
Enjoying season 2 of Falling Skies, quite a bit better than season 1 IMO.
Really trying to enjoy it, but I find myself fast forwarding through any dialogue not involving the hot doctor lady or hard-nosed cancer survivor blondie. The rest of it is getting a bit thin until the guns go bang-bang and the alien things go boom-boom.

Have all the eps and it is a great series, though it suffers under its own bullshit at times ... Some of the best "camera" work with the space battles though.

Some of BSG is pure cheese, and I thought some of the battle scenes looked a bit like something I could cobble together with some toy planes, string and a video camera, that said, enjoying it, 5 eps into s2.

Crucial, I watched SOA last night, and yeah that was brutal alright, although I don't think Tig is the best actor TBH.
