    @kruse

Awesome reviews in the Guardian from recent show in Manchester.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds review – joyous and unexpectedly triumphant

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds review – joyous and unexpectedly triumphant

From heartbreaking beauty to barely contained chaos, the band deliver a surprisingly uplifting arena gig

    Likewise from the comments section.

Might try to get a ticket and go to Berlin concert.

Best Cave ever with Bad Seeds was in a driving storm middle of day during a Lollapalooza. Proved if ever there were doubters he can play a big venue. Luckily I've seen him a dozen times in smaller venues since '80s. We do miss Blixa though.

VH. Goin' back to the first. I hates them. But I loves them. And my love is rotten to the core. Forget the technique for a second - this is simply one of the best electric guitar tones ever.

Eddie is known for his solos and tapping etc but it is his rhythm playing that sets him apart.

Hurricane Smith produced several Beatles LPs, including Rubber Soul.

He also produced early Pink Floyd albums -- Piper at the Gates, Saucerful of Secrets and Ummagumma. One time Nick Mason couldn't get the drum part right, so Hurricane played the part himself. Genius!

The man had all the pedigree any recording engineer would want, but in the early 1970s Hurricane got out of the game producing these teeny-boppers to make his OWN righteous progressive music. As Johnny says here in the introduction, Hurricane makes his U.S. debut at age 49. (What are the chances that's a wig?)

Comparing his chops to longtime VH bassist Michael Anthony is ridiculous....he only played one note!!

For what its worth my latest top ten all time Guitarists goes like this....

    Hendrix.....

    Jeff Beck
    Richie Blackmore
    Jimmy Page
    Stevie Ray Vaughan
    Eddie Van Halen
    Tony Iommi
    Carlos Santana
    Johnny Winter
    Prince
