    Bladerunner 2049

I liked the original, not as big of a fan as some on here I expect.

But I quite liked the reboot, aside from being about 30mins too long, moved along at a steady pace, not the rapid break neck speed that some movies like to drag you along at, but also always something going on.

Ana de Armas and Sylvia Hoeks are both nice to look at

    The Florida Project.

Holy shit, this is not the feel good movie of 2018. Basically a look inside the lives of Ferals living in a seedy motel near Disneyland, most of the cast apart from Willem Dafoe are no names but there’s some incredible acting performances in it.

Ha caught John Wick : Chapter 2 earlier than planned.. last night
Great watch, up there with the first chapter. Enjoyed how it went deeper into the world Wick had tried unsuccessfully to escape.
Great to see his new dog made it through this one, though the Mustang wasnt as lucky..

Has no one mentioned Tour de Pharmacy? If so why not? Thought it was brilliant and great cast.

4 jack black as a teenage girls out of 5 awkward Rock pashes

Agree. The Doctor Who chick is also tidy as fuck.

The opening teenage glib dialogue was shitting me a little. Once the adult actors came in it started to rock.

The Bad Batch, Suki Waterhouse, Keanu Reeves, Jason Momoa, Giovanni Ribisi

Suki Waterhouse is tidy, but even then...dont bother unless you have 2 hours spare to donate to the time goblins

Bright - saw review above, so went in with low expectations, I thought it was ok, bit silly and a bit OTT in places, but was a better watch than the above movie

    El Camino Christmas

A guy heads to el Camino in search of a father he has never known, but catches the eye of some dodgy sheriffs (Vincent D'onofrio) after which chaos ensues.

Also stars Tim Allen, Red from that 70s show, Jessica Alba Along with a couple other recognisable faces.

So true, caught this movie on Sky thought it was tedious apart from the car chase. Easy rider is another one with cult status I watched and still don’t see what the fuss was about.

I, like many of you out there I am sure, once thought to myself, “Hey, I’ve seen the chase scene from Bullitt about 900 times. I should watch the whole movie. It’s probably good.” No. It’s not. Run while you still have a chance.

I'd have to put Deer Hunter in a similar bracket. Some incredibly powerful scenes but parts of it dragged on like no one's business.

Watched a movie called "Miss Sloan" on the weekend. Jessica Chastain is a high profile lobbyist working for a prestigious firm who quits to work for a firm trying to get a gun control bill passed.

Film is essentially a story about the US political system, and what parts of yourself you need to give up to succeed in it.

I thought it was fucking great, so was surprised to see such a low IMDB score. Then you read the reviews, and there are an awful lot of one-star reviews from people who just thought it was anti-gun, or anti-old white guys, and voted/reviewed just to call it bullshit. Thumbs up dickheads.

I was dragged reluctantly to see the new “Paddington 2” movie. Holy crap, it’s a movie about an escape from a high security prison. Very inventive. I loved it. 8/10

Yeah, I haven't heard anything bad about Paddington 2 - plus the first one was quite good, even with Nicole Kidman.

Apparently he's brilliant in it. I don't dislike him with a passion like Kidman.

I haven’t seen the first one, had no interest, but I want to see it now. Hugh Grant was very good playing the role of villain/heel. Funnily enough, when I watched there were way more adults in the cinema than kids.
