@rancid-schnitzel I knew exactly where this was going as soon as I wrote it. He is a magnificent actor who on occasion hams the fuck out of his roles.

He's authentic. He studied people and voices from that era. If that's ham, it's my dad's awesome farking Christmas ham.

That could be the best, or worst, euphemism ever.

How would you like some of my dad's awesome christmas ham?
    Try it on Tinder.

    You're one twisted individual Bones.

I'm no longer on Tinder bitch.

    YOU'VE LET US ALL DOWN

I'm sorry. It was fun while it lasted but I was just never cut out for that kind of life.

The dp thread is always there if you'd like to reminisce.

The DP thread is an absolute gem hidden away in the Fitness forum. Highly educational for us blokes that have been out of the dating game for a while.

I had a look at the fitness forum , there’s some funny stuff in there . Hard not to picture that episode of the Simpsons where Homer is looking in the mirror and his reflection is all cut and muscly.

Daniel Day Lewis was a great actor up until Hams of New York and There Will Be Ham.

Which gave him one Oscar nomination and one Oscar. How you like them apples bitch?

We all know Oscar loves some ham.

Pacino's Oscar winning performance was ham too?

OK I'll bite. Give me an example of a non-ham Oscar winning performance.

Actually there have been some undeserved Oscars in recent memory (although not DDL carnt). Helen Hunt mentioned above, Jodie Foster SOTL, Sandra Bullock Blindside. Were probably weak fields though. DDL was always going to win for Blood. He should have won for Gangs as well. Adrian Brody only won because of the Holocaust factor and Nicholson and Cage probably split the vote.

Russell Crowe for Gladiator was poor, was basically paying him back for not winning the previous year ( from memory)

I'm not sure Crowe deserved to win in 2000 for The Insider but he should have won for A Beautiful Mind in 2002 and not for Gladiator in 2001.

I thought Denzel deserved the oscar in 2000 (The Hurricane) but not 2002 (Training Day).
