1 episode to go in "The Bridge" seems like there is too much happening to finish in an hour, so i expect a cliffhanger to lead in to Season 3.

FX is showing all of "The Walking Dead" this weekend, 4 seasons straight. Wonder how much the hard drive on my Austar box can handle?
-

Finally got around to watching ep 1 of SOA....shit be happening!
Jax really has gone over the edge!

I really do wonder if Sutter will kill off Gemma! She is such a nasty peice of work!

Will Nero save her when Jax learns the truth?

If anyone kills her, it should be Uncer...but I reckon either Jax will get killed and his junkie ex take the kids or Jax will buggar off with the kids, leaving her all alone once everyone learns the truth, (cos Jax will need to leave anyway) because we know she will also be very quick to save her ass by spiling the beans about what Jax was about to do as well.
I cant access this thread at work as it tells me there is pornography in it somewhere!
-
Sadly just watched the final episode of Southland tonight. No, this isn't a reality show set amongst the racy world of horny dairy farmers in Otautau, but a gritty show about cops in Los Angeles which I really got into after discovering series 4 and 5 on late midweek. The finale of series 5 wasn't supposed to be the final episode ever but TNT for some reason decided to shitcan it and didn't renew it a little over a year ago. Shame, because this was the best cop show I've seen since NYPD Blue, and its no coincidence that these shows shared some creative influence. Had series six been filmed it would have started with some ripper storylines. Sigh. At least TWD is back on in less than a fortnight.

I enjoyed the books, have you read those? Are they doing one novel a season or stretching it out even further?

I haven't. Will check them vs the show via the magic of wikipedia. Maybe the problem is compounded by having little character development etc to space out the plot effectively?
-

After the first book's publication, studios and networks began making offers for the film and television adaptation rights, but del Toro and Hogan declined, not wanting a screen version to influence the way they were writing the books. After the third book's publication, the authors talked with every cable network that had expressed interest. FX was deemed most suitable because they wanted to follow the books closely and liked the idea of The Strain as a close-ended series consisting of three to five seasons. Del Toro stated that the first two novels can be covered by one season each, while The Night Eternal may be split into two or three seasons. The author is also open to creative detours that may develop as the series goes on, possibly incorporating material cut from the books. Del Toro intends to direct as many episodes as his busy schedule allows.[24] Before the series order was announced, FX gave the writing team the go-ahead to script another ten episodes, which del Toro rewrote.[27] FX president John Landgraf has stated that the series will consist of "39–65 episodes, no less, no more", adding "What if a television show could be just the length that is optimal for that story?"[28]
-

I fecking loved that series. Really gritty stuff. It was like The Bill, set in gang torn LA
-

Episode 4 of Sons. Wow. Shit got real.

-
Peggy will never get her comeuppance, never!
-

sons
it's pretty cool TV, they are so fucked! they are pissing off all the big players. Shit, when that cop wakes up they are fucked as she'll say they followed the Sons to that drug deal. Then the Pres of that other charter (who i reckon tipped of Lin) is pissed because they killed his son (i think).

And Juice is a loose cannon (who Peggy is going to off).

And it is all because of Peggy. I am going to be soooo pissed when she gets away with it all. That fluffybunny.

Fuck i can't wait to see how they dig their way out of this one, if indeed they do. It might almost be refreshing to see them get what's coming to them, they are terrible people.
-
You still watching this?

I am 6 or 7 in, is pretty good. -

Loving it (The Knick). I haven't watched this weeks one yet, but am really enjoying it. Homeland starts tommorrow. Wonder if it will get back on track now that they have finally resolved the Brody situation.

Neps, whats your question?
-
Caught up on sons (ep4) Not sure how they will keep the pace up, just mental!
-

SOA
My guess is that the war will escalate for a couple of eps yet. Juice will feel responsible for it and will make contact with Jax saying it wasn't the Chinese that killed Tara but not tell him the whole story, asking to meet him in person. Gemma will off Juice before he can. Gemma's world will then start to collapse as Nero (or Unser) gets killed trying to negotiate peace. She's already talking to an imaginary Tara. I think she'll go even more loony.
Jax finding out the truth has to come toward the end of the season, I can see no storyline beyond that. Everything will come down to him having to choose between the club and the kids. Either he'll go down in a blaze to save what's left of the club or he'll ride of with the kids.
-
Spolier for ep5?
-
Surely Nero must be looking at his relationship with the sons? His world has gone to shit since he got into bed with them.

Surely he's gonna lose his shit soon? -
Sons – ep5
So, surely Juice is just turn the gun around and top himself? Doubt he has the balls to kill Gemma, either first or at all.

Surely he isnâ€t stupid enough to try and get Gemma to tell Jax what she did, as I doubt heâ€
d believe she could do that anyway.

Canâ€t believe Nero is buying it all though.

Has there been an episode with no killing yet?
-

So, Gotham, thoughts? Watched the pilot last night, wasn't taken with it. will probably keep watching, but it didn't really grab me. Not sure what it was, but i just wasn't that impressed. Starting to think i may have an unconscious bias against anything on network television. I figure if it's really good, it's probably on Foxtel first.

Also, anyone watching Homeland? Interesting Carrie isn't a whiney mentalist any more, she's just a bitch.
