I had a cheeky wee rape this morning, and I've felt so ashamed today. I'd gone a good six months rape free, (except for the odd one at a party, but everyone was doing it) and I'd really turned the corner and thought I'd gotten all the raping cravings out of my system.
Oh well, I'm rape free from here on. I know I've got the willpower to do it and I just need to think "men have to be better!"

This is a horrible article from Alison Mau, she really is a narcissistic piece of work.
A couple of things:
- Does she really think the court orders name suppression against the family's wishes? Name suppression is granted you fucking idiot, in cases like this usually to protect children.
- With that in mind she actually went to the crime scene to try and find out more. Wow.
- She thinks Grace Milane only got so much attention because she is white. Given half the hysteria around this case has been from her, her feminist sisters and our PM politicising the hell out of it, maybe check with them why this one mattered so much?
- She actually notes that Maori and Pacific Island women are more likely to be victims. Just needs to take one more step and she'll get to the elephant in the room that @jegga noted. But she won't, because it won't suit her bullshit narrative.
There is more bullshit points she makes which are easily pulled apart but that will do for now.
I think this is one of the worst, most ill-thought out articles I've ever read.

Look mate, scandals involving the prime minister being linked to a Czech drug dealing hells angels associate who is currently in prison and who’s ex wife is so afraid of him she’s in hiding in a safe house don’t get out of the news cycle by themselves. Until she can get some photos up online of Baby Neve in her first Xmas outfits this has to do .

Apparently accused has plead Not Guilty to Murder, and still has name suppression.
Justice Moore continued the man's interim name suppression until either an appeal was filed or abandoned by the man's lawyer, Ian Brookie.
Trial date set down for November, swift wheels of justice!

@canefan I guess it'll depend on whether they can say he auto-piloted or had an episode of some kind after her death. But that list of actions makes that a looooong bow to draw.

Don’t think they are denying his actions but claiming they are irrelevant to the charge of murder.
Argument is that it is about how death occurred, not what happened afterwards.Charge murder and you have to prove intent don’t you? Unless the prosecution has some evidence of pre-planning that will be difficult to prove.

They will still use his actions afterwards to create a “frame of mind” picture that points towards a deliberate or reckless act I guess.
Probably also have to get others to testify whether she had history of liking rough sex as well.
Must be a hard case to sit through for the parents, listening to your dead daughters sex life -

while proving he intended to murder her will be difficult and sounds like it could have been accidental, his reported actions after murdering her seem pretty cold rather than panic.
