Nope. Less than 80 minutes without ads.

[spoiler] well, no surprises, and the end was obvious from well out.. At least it completed the story arc and didn't get gimmicky.. The end was the worst bit of blue screen effect since the 1950s though. Surely they could have done that shot better.
Finished watching the first season of the Gomorrah TV series. Pretty good stuff. Well shot, lots of action, plenty of plot twists, and appropriately grim.

Sons is unlikely to be the type of show that picks up awards but Jimmy Smits' performance in the last ep was very worthy.

I watched homeland for the first time since the end of the first series. Has the rest of this series been as good as last nights episode?

Finally I have got around to watching Boardwalk Empire. First episode switched between flashbacks to Nucky as a kid and seeing "what made the man", Nucky in Cuba anticipating the end of the Bolstead Act (Prohobition) and Roosevelts election, Chalky in a prison gang, Luciano joining a "new family" and Nucky's ex Margaret in a New York stockbrokers firm and the subsequent fall out from the depression.

Kept me interested enough to watch the next episodes

you should definitely watch the whole Season 4. It's great and pretty much stands on its own as a story. 2 and 3 have their good bits, but a lot of silly stuff (teenage drama??) inbetween.

Though it would have been a bit better to watch from Ep 1 onwards instead of from where you are and now from 1 ;)

I got the feeling at the end of series 1 it was going to go the way of lost and probably bore the hell out of me with crap about Brodie and Carrie trying to make their relationship work. I meant to watch season 4 from the start because I heard Brodie had taken a dirt nap and Carrie was going to Pakistan. Might watch it from the start if the rest is as good as that episode, not interested in 2 and 3 though.

Does anyone watch that show with the navy ship full of survivors of a plague and is it worth a look ?

I think that the best way to think about Season 4 is a cross between some of the character stuff of season 1 and 24 (the show). If that sounds like you then you should love it. No need to watch 2 and 3 - in fact in my head I can't even differentiate between 2 & 3.

SOA finale...very ending, not surprising if you have paid attention, even if a bit cowardly, but execution? Did they give to a standard 3 rural school with no internet connection to complete?

All in all, probably happier than I was with Dexter finale, which I rate as highly (my top ten ever, both pushing top five) even if I woulda done it differently, which is probably why Sutter has made a few dollars from TV series vs my $0....

Still, who the fuck is the hobo lady and what the fuck was that scene all about? It made no sense despite her many appearances.
