Careful justifying Banshee TR, could make for a long thread pointing out holes in that "cartoon". I turned off the care factor switch when the mad injuns were blasting holes through the 6 inch steel plated police station only to be thwarted by "Van" cleverly putting flimsy filing cabinets over the holes.
 
Poor ol' injuns with their 16mm guns were no match for the office mate clearance sale specials.
 
I quite like the similar (ish) show "Justified"
 
and "Moone Boy" makes me laugh out loud

I don't see Banshee and Justified as similar. Banshee is basically a cartoon as you say, Justified is one of the best action dramas on TV. and is grounded in a much more realistic world. And like TR says, they've been killing off hotties and not bloody replacing them.
 
 
 
 
As for Clarkson, when I was young and impressionable I thought he was quite funny on TV, but really he's mostly a fluffybunny when you dig a little bit deeper.

That thing really stank, the contestants weren't particularly likeable although the chicks were quite hit. 
I never watched miss personaility but I went to mermaids on a stag do and Vicki Lee was stripping and the sign out the front said she was on it. 
Also does anyone remember a show where they gave a bunch of people cameras and they videoed their lives? 1999 or 2000, was woeful , they had some skank from Auckland and a dreadlocked creature from Southland who hooked up with a guy who looked like her twin.
 
And those treasure island shows were pretty ordinary too.

I'd like to see Clarkson replaced because he's a dick and Coogan is much funnier. But the hysteria over every bloody utterance from Clarkson is a thing to behold. The guy is/was the host of a car show ffs.

Yeah was an interesting addition to the back-story.
 
Pretty decent finale, explosive and then just as you thought it was over...Rebecca is so badd-ass! 
 
But yes, they need at least 2 more hotties!

Why can someone not be funny and a "fluffybunny"? There are lots of people I don't like but find funny.

OK, I persevered and after giving Breaking Bad a short rest tried to get into it again but gave up. I just can't get into the characters, I find them all unlike-able and annoying. The only one I got interested in was Jesse's girlfriend and then she was gone.
I guess I need characters that make me want to know what happens to them, to get involved with their stories....
 
Might give Better Call Saul a go as he was at least interesting and his only back story has potential.
 
Killing time until GoT and Orphan Black come back now.

I found Hank to be a likeable character. Season 4 and 5 were definitely pretty awesome seasons. I don't get why people root for Walt though.

Been watching Better Call Saul.
 
Enjoying it way more than BB.
 
Same production style but the characters are way better. Even though Saul is a dick on the surface, his character is quickly added to with backstory and supporting characters that create empathy. Has some good scripting too. The downside in the early eps were a couple of idiots that reminded me way too much of early Jesse from BB. At least they went quickly.

That will be the end of that show as even though he is a bit of a 'head the people that watched that show tended to love him

That's a strong decision by the BBC. Top Gear is a big earner for them, and i doubt it will be without Clarkson. Still, rules is rules Harry, even HR ones
 
I liked him, he's an arrogant, braying piston wristed gibbon, but he knew it, and played the part to perfection. I liked his rants against hand-wringers, and found his general disdain for others opinions an amusing character (faked or real, it doesn't matter, it's on TV, he's not a mate). He does go too far, the slope comment was too far (or not, maybe he just should have said faggot, apparently that's not really abusive), and he deserves censure for those instances. But i found him far less disagreeable than many others on television.
 
Pretty much the end of a show that i enjoyed whenever i watched it.
