@Chris fair enough. Hope it doesn't happen though - Crusaders are already strong enough.

@Chris where did you hear that?

He seems a fairly loyal chap and outlines in the video below that he could have signed with the Crusaders 2 years ago and played with Scott but that was offset because he always wanted to be a Hurricane. I just don't see that changing.

@Canes4life you maybe right his GF is from Christchurch he enjoyed his time at Lincoln I only repeated the Rumour maybe someone else on the Fern can add to it either way
In my opinion I don’t think the Crusaders need him they need to give regular game time to Ennor,Jordan etc Crotty Leaving maybe opens up a spot for Jordan at FB Havalli to 2nd five or Ennor to centre Goodhue to 2nd five

@Chris if Barrett moves to the Crusaders you might aswell just hand them the trophy. A backline of 9. Enari 10. Mo'unga 11. Bridge 12. Barrett 13. Goodhue 14. Ennor 15. Jordan - now that would be something else.

No space for Havili? He’d make a great catch if the Saders let him go. Can’t see it happening of course.

@gt12 he'd probably head offshore before signing elsewhere. They would probably have to release someone like Punivai.

If I were Ennor, I’d head home - that Blues 13 jersey would be his.

@Canes4life I don’t think for SR it would be a good thing the Crusaders have depth to cover Crotty leaving and have Dallas McLeod, or The younger Punivai to give a contract too .

@gt12 yeah but also forming a formidable backline with the likes of Jordan, Bridge, Mo'unga etc must be hard to turn down.

@Chris yeah 100% agree, it would turn alot of people outside of Canterbury off SR if that sort of thing happened.

@gt12 I don't see Havili leaving the Crusaders. They may move him to 12, but at this stage, he's still picked ahead of Jordan and I can't see them leaving Havili out of the 23, if he keeps playing like he does at the moment.

Haven’t really read the thread but you can stick Ennor in there for sure. A lot of talk about Jordan but I reckon Ennor has been the rookie back of the season. Oozes class.

@Yeetyaah that one game where he started at 12 this year he looked rock solid and alot more natural in being that extra playmaker. His love of physicality suits him being in that position aswell. He's obviously unproven because he hasn't been given much of a chance there to show his prowess.

                                    Good news!

There are two Japanese seasons next year Jan-Mayish and then the standard one that runs August-December - I assume he is only playing the first one then returning for the mid-year tests.

                                    Likely captain.

If he plays this entire contract out without a major injury (which to be fair would be unheard of for a lock of his age/miles) he will break all of McCaw's playing records surely.

@rotated Whitey will defs be All Blacks captain moving forward. I'd say Beaudy will do something similar contract wise and that's probably why it's taking so long to sort out.

Listening to RS at present talking about BBBR & BB future.

Looking like BBBR will re-sign with NZR but will take a year out to play in Japan next year, meaning he wont play for the ABs in 2020.

BB apparently will just have a non-playing sabbatical clause.

I have zero issues with NZR doing this for these guys (inc SW)
