If only we knew who was available. Two of those probably not, so not that many worthy options.
So if the Lions coach is ruled out, and the bloke who said he wants a break for family reasons (Schmidt). Vern hasn't covered himself in glory (although that could be a cattle issue) and apparently Rennie is off to coach the Wallabies.
Options look thin.

Well Razor looks like he intends to give it a shot
"That process is the first week of December and I've got to prepare to put myself forward," he said at Monday's victory parade through Christchurch.
"I've done what I can to and hopefully have a great interview, all going well. If they want someone, they know who they're getting with me...
Asked to assess his chances, Robertson was thoughtful.
"Ask me closer to the time," he said. "I'm a pretty positive and optimistic person, and if you have a crack, you'd like to think you've got a chance."

I don’t really think the sample size is big enough to say whether or not a successful ABs must have offshore coaching experience to be successful. The same guys have been running the ABs for 15 years.
The game has changed so much in that time.If anything the evidence points to the opposite scenario where a successful international coach is better off if they have NZ coaching experience.
It has to be Razor for me. Foster came in after the dynasty was built. Razor has well and truely proven himself. Not giving it to him would effectively be telling him to fuck off overseas for a decade.

We don't - Foster won't get anywhere near it.I'd say we are less than 50% chance of winning (though still favorites) given the strength of the competition and our slight decline.

What’s with all the pessimism about our chances at the RWC? I watched all 6Ns tests and whilst some of the tests were decent, I didn’t see anything that said “wow, if they play like that they’ll beat the ABs”.
And last time I checked our SH counterparts were in a world of pain.
Is it a case of we aren’t beating teams by 20 or 30 therefore we are way back in the pack.
