Donโ€™t be too hard on your blokes. They tried as hard as they could. The difficulty with being consistently the best team in the world is that it feels doubly crap when you lose...although, how would I know.

PS good to see you fellas

Another blast from the past, good to see you too.

As I explained to my son, fans are allowed to be happy for their team. Sucks for us, but thatโ€™s sport.

A bit creepy as I mentioned @The-Eagle earlier in my "gloaters" comment and will not be surprised to see Dodge either.

We were done rugby wise but funny how people show up again...just saying.

@mantissanet heโ€™s a quality coach for sure. The Brumbies had quality players during his tenure 98-01 and got to the big dance and even won the choccies. Heโ€™s a true tactician. Remember he left the Brumbies after 2001 because he got the Wallabies job. Nucifora then got the Brumbies job and made some changes and got to the finals before the player revolt....

@ACT-Crusader Aplogies re Eddies Brumbie exact years. Hansen partly culpable in my book but even then Eng looked remarkably well coached. Who out of todayโ€™s Eng team make a world 15 head and shoulders above the rest? Maybe one or 2 for me.....

I'll say this - Itoje finally stepped up in my eyes to be the player he's long been touted to be. He was superb. So were the two young flankers.

@antipodean Itoje no question. Brodie remains top of the pile though for myself globally. Sublime player. Possibly too green post injury. Their loosies were great considering Ardie and Cane when he was on just had so little actual effect.

On today's performance there wouldn't have been an All Black at all, but I get your point England played well as a team.

@Snowy Goodhue still number one is his jersey globally by a country mile in my book...and the amount of number 2 jerseys after today in your team globally is still probably pretty high ๐Ÿ˜‰

Still thinking about the rest of them. I'll start with the forwards then work smaller clothing from the backs.

@Snowy Better 13 than him at the mo. Really interested.... Such a different jersey to 12 and he has owned it through too many victories in a structure I would never have messed with if I was Hansen to think otherwise. Long conversation about 13 vs 12 but he has been ridiculously solid for ages despite that mullet ๐Ÿ˜‰

Super disappointed in our performance. But not super surprised. England have been building nicely for 2 years now and would have been targeting this match. We fell into the old trap of trying to play their game. Hell we even picked a team to combat theirs. A confident team picks their team to play their way.

The start was absolutely turgid. You won't see a softer try then that. Even school boys would be ashamed of that defence. When that didn't trigger any sort of response Perth 2.0 was on the cards. Our defense was the most passive I have seen.

With Owens as the ref is crazy how few rucks we contested. And for all this red head blue head stuff. When the pressure came on our discipline turned to shit.

My only complaint with Owens is that shoulder hit has been a card all cup. Not even a penalty is just a bad call. Not that we wouldn't have lost anyway.

I know the All Blacks like leaders all over the park. But this two play makers thing annoys me. You need someone running the cutter. Some one to say right I'm changing things. I don't see how this works with 2 10s on the park.

Anyway it's only a game we had a great run. I can't say I have any strong feelings towards any of the teams still in. So good luck to them all.

@Snowy when do you want this coat fabric bud?

Was going to start with that guy with the 2019 tattoo That sort of jinxing is worthy.

Still thinking about the rest of them. I'll start with the forwards then work smaller clothing from the backs.

I have a small female pelt with a few blonde hairs left sticking out.

                                      Sorry, completely whooshed?

                                      It was nice knowing Bonesetta.

@Snowy Goodhue still number one is his jersey globally by a country mile in my book...and the amount of number 2 jerseys after today in your team globally is still probably pretty high ๐Ÿ˜‰

                                          Agreed.

But even if he'd gone perfect he couldn't ref the final ๐Ÿ˜‰
