They don't just confine their dodgy dealings to the British Isles. A few years ago a couple of them turned up outside my townhouse in Oslo. Was a weird experience to say the least. They were offering to do up my front yard. They showed me an impressive "portfolio" of their work. Having seen Snatch I didn't want to piss them off so told them I was skint.

Found out later that they were becoming a serious problem. You pay them up front, they do a shit job and demand more cash to fix. You pay them more and they promptly piss off. Considering Norwegians are the most trusting and naive people on the planet, they probably made a fortune.

Can't blame Tyson Fury if he's a little farked in the head.

On a smaller scale that is happening even in Australia , they come out here , usually targeting the elderly , quite often offering to fix their roof , rip off as many as they can , piss off home with the cash ,

When I was a kid in the 70's pikey was generally used locally for travellers who had settled into housing. I grew up in Ashford and there was a big pikey settlement in nearby Hothfield. The pikeys who went to my school we're happy to be known by that name. How words change - friends were called "chavvies" (really), good was "cushtie" long before Only Fools and Horses, and not surprisingly they would often go "choring" (stealing) at the weekends. Usually with their parents.

I'm not sure why people are so aghast at Fury.....he's not a rapist ( Tyson ) doesn't have mob ties ( Liston) isn't a woman basher ( Mayweather ) isn't a murderer ( Don King ).....he's just a quirky chap who says weird and offensive shit at the end of the day....

That's what happens when you have an alphabet soup of boxing titles. All of the different organisations compete against eachother. I assume the IBF had scheduled a challenge before the Klitschko/Fury fight. As I mentioned earlier, Kevin Barry predicted this.

Klitchko pretty much took on all mandatory s for a decade , which I guess is why I have some respect for him .
Yeah not too many great boxers in that list of guys he has beaten . , but that's not his fault . He can only beat what is there , and he cant be accused of dodging anyone , which is a bit rare these days .

Not sure why people are sympathising with Fury's upbringing and suggesting he doesn't know any better

I'd suggest that the behaviour of the group he comes from KNOWS EXACTLY what acceptable and unacceptable behaviour is, thus they choose the effective option knowing full well about consequences and expectations

Surely people can see he's on the wind up. (as if his opinion on society even matters)

Is he actually any good? Just looks like a fat swinger to me (but he's got a title and millions and I've got sfa)

Well, he just beat Klitschko so he's obviously a lot more than just a fat swinger.
