Karate Kid III
The most predictable movie ever. There is literally nothing in the movie that you cannot see happening miles away. With the exception of him not hooking up with the chick. I mean, what was even the point of the chick???
0.5 pony tailed dudes out of 5 predictable endings
Is that the Will Smith's son one?
The Jayden Smith one should actually be called the kung fu kid

@mariner4life the 80s was a different era when it came to movies, Porkys, Revenge of the Nerds, Screwballs, Animal House, Blazing Saddles etc
Many of those films wouldnt get past the door of a studio now, but boy they were funny AF back then.
Pedant Alert! That was the early 70s.
Blazing Saddles is already about as funny as a Movie could possibly be. The fact that woke Millennials would find it obscenely offensive and demand that it gets cancelled possibly makes it even better.
Where the white women at ?
Accidentally bought Mrs CF a dairy free cake for her birthday. Like eating dry wall. Woke people are like vegans. Pleasureless and humourless existences.
but, but, - they're saving Gaia....

@canefan yeah it kinda does both movies a disservice when they use the same name.
People will inevitiably compare with the original, rather than having people watch in it's own right, and then draw comparisons (Point Break is a prime example, original has a following, so any 're-make' will always suffer, why not just call it something else and let people say thats like Point Break - I mean Fast and Furious did it)

@MajorRage its the last of the Daniel Laruso films innit? With the pretend dead bad guy and a diet Steven Seagal??
Yup. The Hilary Swank movie must be KK4. Frankly, I'd flag the movies and watch Cobra Kai on YouTube TV

@Mokey why does this review exist? Your first mistake was watching a Stallone vehicle post Demolition Man.
With the odd exception of Copland(which is excellent), Anything he's made after Demo Man where he is the main star(not including Creed 1/2 or the Expendables series) and particularly by small studios is likely going to be 90-100min of your life you'd have been better suited watching grass grow.

Revisited the first Hannibal Lector film, Manhunter from the mid 80s with William Peterson and Brian Cox as the good doctor. Just a really good film, not as flashy as SOTL but very suspenseful and well directed by Michael Mann. Not a lot of overt violence but implied. The death of the shithouse reporter was great. 4 teeth out of 5 fairies.
-
@Catogrande One of my all time favourite movies from one of my favourite directors. I've seen that movie at least 12 times. So much better than SOTL, especially the cast and the characterisations. Oh, and it looks a million times better too.
"It's just you and me now, sport."
-
@Catogrande Another fav, and another that I've seen more than 10 times.
Peterson's first three movies were Thief, To Live and Die in LA , and Manhunter. Hard to beat that run.
BTW, if you watch To Live and Die in LA again, don't get the most recent blu-ray release. The colour is fucked up.
Spot of trivia: Daphne from Fraiser was the threesome partner.

she did some great shoots for FHM too

He makes some brilliant cameos in Impractical Jokers these days.
