Too? Doesn't the assault grant them automatic dickhead status?

      @Nepia not necessarily...but for me, it's a no regardless.

Selby-Rickit and Tom Robinson must be options, and maybe Dunshea. Is Luke Jacobsen playing with consistency of impact yet, or is Robinson the next number 6? Is Ayden Johnstone recovered from injury. They might need another prop besides Ta'avao. Also thought that Telea and Fainga'anuku were head to head for a winger spot. It will be interesting to see who is brought in - and whether any are groomed for fast-tracking their potential in that environment. Personally I believe the purpose of the expanded squad should be just that - with the next RWC developing depth options.

Pretty standard quote if you put the name Beaudie or Jordie in front of it

It's not like Aust has a team full of experienced locks either outside of Simmons.

I am sure Strange would have to have played some M10 Cup games to be considered for selection.

I don't like his technique defending rampaging fijian number 8s with big afros.

Interesting looking back at some of the selections from back in late July.

Cully got the backline right except Jordie over Jordan. And he only got Sotutu wrong in the starting pack.

This was in yesterday's paper. Knowler ignoring Rieko. WTF?

Paul Cully’s All Blacks: Beauden Barrett, Will Jordan, Rieko Ioane, Jack Goodhue, George Bridge, Richie Mo’unga, Aaron Smith, Hoskins Sotutu, Sam Cane (captain), Shannon Frizell, Patrick Tuipulotu, Sam Whitelock, Ofa Tuungafasi, Codie Taylor, Joe Moody.

Reserves: Dane Coles, Ayden Johnstone, Tyrel Lomax, Pari Pari Parkinson, Ardie Savea, TJ Perenara, Ngani Laumape, Jordie Barrett.

Marc Hinton’s All Blacks: Jordie Barrett, Sevu Reece, Rieko Ioane, Jack Goodhue, George Bridge, Richie Mo’unga, Aaron Smith, Hoskins Sotutu, Sam Cane (c), Ardie Savea, Patrick Tuipulotu, Sam Whitelock, Ofa Tuungafasi, Dane Coles, Joe Moody.

Reserves: Codie Taylor, Aidan Ross, Nepo Laulala, Mitchell Dunshea, Shannon Frizell, TJ Perenara, Beauden Barrett, Anton Lienert-Brown.

Richard Knowler’s All Blacks: Will Jordan, Mark Telea, Jack Goodhue, Ngani Laumape, George Bridge, Richie Mo’unga, Aaron Smith, Hoskins Sotutu, Ardie Savea, Lachlan Boshier, Patrick Tuipulotu, Sam Whitelock (c), Ofa Tuungafasi, Codie Taylor, Joe Moody.

Reserves: Dane Coles, Alex Hodgman, Tyrel Lomax, Mitchell Dunshea, Sam Cane, TJ Perenara, Anton Lienert-Brown, Beauden Barrett.

Interesting looking back at some of the selections from back in late July.

Cully got the backline right except Jordie over Jordan. And he only got Sotutu wrong in the starting pack.

So, a couple of new questions:

                                        1. Who are the options to replace Bridge in the squad? and

                                        2. Do the ABs still need to take an extra 11 players for a four match tour?

                                          1. Dunno, not playing wings in the wing so not a problem!
                                          2. No as there is free entry into Oz. Might take a couple more just in case but I don't think so
