I saw you give Don a serve on pr yesterday , I don't know if you remember but he joined the fern a few years back and got laughed/hounded off when he tried to claim that because he earns fuck all as a photographer he's entitled to a state subsidised house because home ownership is a basic human right. Reading that thread was like watching a truck load of petrol slowly crash into a fireworks factory as he got more insistent that he was right.

I swear social media is the worst thing to ever happen to the left, in another time a loser like him would be reduced to letters to the editor .

For ages I just thought that Don was Winger but apparently more than two people can flip flop on flags in precisely the same way (I actually assumed a bunch of posters, any anti vaccers, were just Winger's PR login multis).

Grouch has a blog now too, I lost the link unfortunately but it was pretty funny reading him rant about how neo libs were slowly dragging NZ into a fascist state and the press are on Keys ....sorry brand Keys payroll.

Just received my voting paper in London and uploaded a Lockwood tick to the website.

4 work colleagues this week (2 Brits, 1 French, 1 Italian) have all come up to saying variations of "What do you think of New Zealand's new flag? I thing it's fantastic", not knowing that it isn't a done deal.

I will be so gutted if it gets voted down :knuppel:

Will be the same for me here in der Schweiz. I don't think kiwis at home realise how appealing the Lockwood flag is to foreigners.

19/20 voted for the other Lockwood in my work poll before referendum 1.

I think that looks mint! As I said in this thread, this flag looks much better 'flying' or in action than as a graphic!

I don't think its even going to be close.

Young voters (a lot of) seem to be against it, mainly because of the Key thing. Unfortunately anecdotally they have abandoned their inherent <strike>lazyness </strike> apathy and appear to actually be voting.

My colleague said her son (admittedly too young to vote) came home from school with a strong opinion on why we should keep our current flag, talking about our history etc. Influenced by his teachers views.

Both my kids (10 and 7) like the new design...from what I gather, both of their teachers have tried to remain impartial in the discussions they have had at school over it, which is interesting given some of the other topical 'political views' I had heard my kids come home with!

I haven't expressed to them which flag I preferred, even my wife when she voted earlier in the week asked which I was voting for.

Imagine handing out green peace pamphlets for them to take home and teaching the The Internationale to sing.

You've got to start them young, my sons been referring to people like the tppa protesters as ferals for a few years now and he's 13 . I've still got a bit of work to rounding out his world view but suffice to say any leftard teacher trying to spout some pro disease bullshit or pinko nonsense is going to have their work cut out for them.
