Finished Devs
OVerall, I enjoyed it, but in the end (as I so often lament about series) I think it was a bit weak, although not quite sure how they could have done it better, but thats why they are the writers/producers, not me.
Watched a few eps of Upload (love series with eps under 30 mins) and seems decent, some parts reminding me of The Good Place (which isnt a surpirse given both dealing with the 'afterlife')
Just finished watching Devs. I think I was ultimately disappointed, especially when taking into account Alex Garland's other work.
It's first few episodes were really good but it didn't stick the landing. And what the hell happened to her friend that helped her in the office, she just straight up disappeared from the show like she was Richie Cunningham's older brother.
It reminded me a bit of Tenet - good (probably great) filmmakers who tried to get a little too tricky.

Good enough for me. Will avoid like the plague.

I don't know what this show is, but can someone post a link to the tits in question so I can know what everyone is going on about?
Not sure if you were just taking the piss of previous attempts to post said tits, but I found it amusing to see what the google would throw up if I searched for "collateral tits".
Amongst other intriguing rabbit holes to dive down (so to speak)...

Collateral. A BBC production from a couple of years or so ago. Available on Netflix. Only 4 eps so easy to watch and not a huge time investment. On the surface a police procedural, but with interlinking stories. A little predictable in places but with a good cast. Carey Mulligan, John Simm.
And now that I've made you read all that. Only one tit scene.
Nice though.
This is a great new twist on watching a TV show.
I've downloaded the series, and watched the first episode... and all I'm thinking of, as each new female character is presented, is... "Is it your tits I'm going to see?"And then the bird from that old cold-cases type show (Unforgotten) appears, and I'm thinking " oh shit, no... "; and then there's Billie Piper turn up, and I'm thinking "oh, maybe, but... not sure if I'm that fussed", etc, etc.
I was pleasantly surprised as it exceeded my expectations
TITS! I saw tits.
Larger than expected for the character involved - but pallid tits, and unhappy.
Not deposited into the wank-bank.Yes, she’s is a BOBFOC

@Tim just finished S2 of Eastbound and Down (which I thought was better than S1) is it worth going into S3?
Seems like one of those shows that will just be more of the same?

Haven't heard that one since one of the ATC girls was pointed out to me in Cyprus.

ButterFace - was one I learnt from Shameless -

Even worse was the two paper bagger. One for you in case hers splits.

@taniwharugby it's been so long since I watched it but I would definitely say watch it. I wasn't disappointed I know that.

The Circus
Just got Stan so I'm late to this but it's an excellent political show starting with the lead up to the 2016 Presidential election. I'm now in season two as they cover the first year of Trump's Presidency.
Made by two reporters and a political media strategist.

@Crucial it's bloody good eh! Glad someone picked up on it from my recommendation, it fits in perfectly with the GOM vibe.
I'm 1 EP in and think I'm going to enjoy this
and @Crucial
It's essentially Ron taking most of his character from the movie Office Space and putting it into a different scene, so you'd probably like that movie too if you haven't seen it. Dr Cox has an excellent character in that too.
-
Finished The Stand - overall, not bad, although last couple of eps went down hill, last ep was a waste and the ending, while not a surprise, I doubt I'll watch S2.
-
Your Honor
Finale was tonight.
:::
This was a series that started with an interesting plot but the story got progressively worse over the 10 episodes. Bryan Cranston was great, as was Michael Stuhlbarg. The ending was not satisfying at all even if the most annoying character on TV since Elizabeth Keen finally dies.

@Bones I thought you might have been watching it already so I put the spoiler in there. The episodes aired only a couple of days after the US.
Yeah wasn't having a go at you! It airs on Sky Atlantic on March 2.
