Collateral. A BBC production from a couple of years or so ago. Available on Netflix. Only 4 eps so easy to watch and not a huge time investment. On the surface a police procedural, but with interlinking stories. A little predictable in places but with a good cast. Carey Mulligan, John Simm.

And now that I've made you read all that. Only one tit scene.

    Nice though.

This is a great new twist on watching a TV show.
I've downloaded the series, and watched the first episode... and all I'm thinking of, as each new female character is presented, is... "Is it your tits I'm going to see?"

And then the bird from that old cold-cases type show (Unforgotten) appears, and I'm thinking " oh shit, no... "; and then there's Billie Piper turn up, and I'm thinking "oh, maybe, but... not sure if I'm that fussed", etc, etc.

I was pleasantly surprised as it exceeded my expectations

    TITS! I saw tits.
Larger than expected for the character involved - but pallid tits, and unhappy.
    Not deposited into the wank-bank.

    Yes, she’s is a BOBFOC

I had to look that one up, never heard it before.
ButterFace - was one I learnt from Shameless

I think the term used to be a paper bagger

Even worse was the two paper bagger. One for you in case hers splits.

    The Circus

Just got Stan so I'm late to this but it's an excellent political show starting with the lead up to the 2016 Presidential election. I'm now in season two as they cover the first year of Trump's Presidency.

Made by two reporters and a political media strategist.

    and @Crucial

It's essentially Ron taking most of his character from the movie Office Space and putting it into a different scene, so you'd probably like that movie too if you haven't seen it. Dr Cox has an excellent character in that too.

Finished The Stand - overall, not bad, although last couple of eps went down hill, last ep was a waste and the ending, while not a surprise, I doubt I'll watch S2.

    Your Honor

    Finale was tonight.

    :::

This was a series that started with an interesting plot but the story got progressively worse over the 10 episodes. Bryan Cranston was great, as was Michael Stuhlbarg. The ending was not satisfying at all even if the most annoying character on TV since Elizabeth Keen finally dies.

It hasn't started here yet but I was so happy to see a headline in a news feed this morning spoiling it...

@Bones I thought you might have been watching it already so I put the spoiler in there. The episodes aired only a couple of days after the US.

Watched 2 eps of Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel.

    Netflix, 4 eps only.

Pretty intriguing so far, hotel is notorious for crimes taking place there, including one of the rapes and murders of The Nightstalker.

I suggested this to the potential future Mrs MN5 as something to watch but she has had enough of serial killer/murderer type shows on Netflix and put on the Bachelorette instead.

I could sense my brain function diminishing just being in the same room as it but she insists it is good for her to unwind after a long stressful day.

@MN5 I have to say...I get it, the read world is f'ed up enough without real crime doco's, although im more likely to watch the amazing race for some mindless "reality" tv

Yeah we're struggling to meet in the middle for shows we both enjoy, not helped by the world situation and very little new material coming out.

I always have my mindless stuff to watch, switch brain off, enjoy.

Currently watching Eastbound and Down & Loudermilk, think ep 3 was brilliant.
    "you left your 9 children?"
"well, not really, the twins werent born yet"

Caught up on Family Guy and finished S2 of Dead Pixels (Very silly stuff in this)

I went through a couple of more adult animated series, by their nature a but more easy to digest

"Final Space" and "Disenchanted" both on Netflix

started ok for the genre and then should have finished way earlier..worst couple of episodes to end in a series, better not be a season 2

Loudermilk, actually quite enjoying this, finished season 1, not always laugh out loud, but some very funny moments, addictive alternative comedy

    finished S2 of The Expanse

It's still pretty good, if at times a little slow moving. Actually is slow the word i am looking for? There's no shortage of action in each episode. I don't know, it just seemed like it took a long time to not go too far actually.
