@kruse That Evan Smith guy sounds like a barrel of laughs you pansy.
Good to see how you developed your film review 'style'
Jesus... you actually read that whole thing?
I believe that my very next post was a riposte to Evan.I'll confess I scrolled straight to the comments section...is the blog as good as the comments?
Nah. Evan was a gem... and I took way too much time responding to him.
- Christ, I just re-read another piece of my own writing - spotting about half-a-dozen typos - in what was effectively an extended rant about spelling/punctuation/grammar/etc. Irony much?
Other than that - cringeworthy... I obviously had way too much time on my hands in those days.
Have you not heard of digital music?
Yes, I've been having a nosey at your blog, I'm "self-isolating" at the moment and my work mates have decided to ignore my Slack messages so I have a bit of chilling time.
Man you talk about buying CDs a lot. I kept thinking I'd look at a post and it would be from the late 90s or 00s, but they were all from the 10s.

Oh - and yeah, re: CDs... I'm the same as @Crazy-Horse ... nowadays, I buy CDs and rip 'em.
Every time I visited NZ, I'd pretty much buy up every NZ CD released since I was last here - at any independent CD store I could find, rip'em, and then have the music stored on my phone, or trusty old iRiver.
I started off not trusting "streaming" - particularly with time away from decent internet access... but also kinda like the effort of having chosen some albums to have on the phone, and being stuck with them. - Christ, I just re-read another piece of my own writing - spotting about half-a-dozen typos - in what was effectively an extended rant about spelling/punctuation/grammar/etc. Irony much?

@mikethesnow There was a feature on BBC World Service a couple of weeks ago that had three blind cooks talking about how they felt lack of vision improved their cooking. One was a UK marine who lost his sight and then his wife to cancer and had to learn to cook, another who wrote a cookbook for blind people and the third - I assume - was this woman. Won Masterchef USA, opened a couple of Vietnamese restaurants and has a best selling cookbook. Bloody inspiring stuff.
Wish I could bake that good a pie.

Holy Crap. Moron with metal detector finds a WW2 bomb and tries to sell it on eBay.

@victor-meldrew I mean, come on. They can't be that rare.

We were having a discussion at work after we found a young fella hiding in the front seat footwell of a car. He was naked and there were tissues and a penis shaped dildo on the front seat. Does it mean you are not as straight as you thought you were if you use a penis shaped dildo?
Asking for @Bones...

I suspect that the answer to that is Occam's razor.
I would question what other shape of dildo he might have used? You are in Queensland so the answers may be more varied than my imagination allows.

Not fact checked, but noooo!

Fish don't have tongues but still gross.
Pretty sure there is a QI episode with that in it.
Here it is with some equally disgusting other stuff in the article:
