    @Bovidae good video.

It actually reminded me of when I watched PGS play bball for Fiji under 18s or 19s in a game in Melbourne about 10 years ago. He had some skills

@ACT-Crusader That video also shows how much his body shape has changed from basketball player to rugby player.

      1. Bower

      2. Taylor

      3. Laulala

      4. S. Barrett

      5. Whitelock

      6. A. Ioane

      7. Cane

      8. Savea

      9. Smith

      10. B. Barrett

      11. Reece

      12. Tupaea

      13. R. Ioane

      14. Jordan

      15. J. Barrett

      16. Taukeiaho

      17. Ross

      18. Taavao

      19. Vaai

      20. Papalii

      21. Christie

      22. Mounga

      23. Tuivasa-Sheck

Would like to see this sort of a team. Maybe even RTS starting over Tupaea. RTS will need to be thrown into the deep end before the World Cup at some point, sooner rather than later?

Not sure if Goodhue at 100% yet but if he is even him over Tupaea.

Taukeiaho best hooker atm but I think Ross should be on the bench atleast so a chiefs front row coming on together in Ross’ debut makes sense to me.

Thinking about PGS - this must be our most foreign born AB team in a while with him, Fakatava, Reece, LF, RTS, Akira, Ofa, Laulala, Ross, Tauki'aho and the Ginga. I think that's it? Even a couple of whities too.

TBF, it's not that bad when you break it down - only PGS came as an adult, Reece, Taukei'aho and Fakatava for school, the rest as kids.

@Bones Not sure? Lomax would have been if he was selected.

It's one of the easiest teams to pick in ages yet the TAB still fuck it up.
My guess is that RM and BB swap (for combination given the short prep), The wings are the other way around and that maybe Goodhue is on bench rather than LF

I think that makes more sense. Better midfield cover and obviously Rieko can cover wing

To me, Goodhue starts or isn't in the 23. I don't think he adds a lot off the bench, where you want impact players.

If Tu'inukuafe is considered the best LH scrummager then surely he starts too? The only problem is that a Tu'inukuafe-Laulala combo with Taylor doesn't provide a lot of ball-carrying from the front row. So we're back to the same problem. The best option is to start Taukei'aho to do the heavy lifting and use Taylor, Bower and Tu'ungafasi as subs. That won't happen, of course.

Has George Bower at least quietened the critics for now? 🙂

That won't be far away from the team.

I expect Scott Barrett to at least be in the 23. I would start him, but the TAB will probably be right.

BB and RM may or may not swap the starting role.

I'd be inclined to pick Jack Goodhue at 2nd five, but Dave Havili has put his hand up.

Not sure about the bench props - Fozzie will learn more in camp about their relative abilities at scrum time. I'd like to see Ross on the bench.

Pretty doubtful that Big Leicester goes straight into the 23. I'm not sure he's legitimate cover for anywhere other than 11 in his first test.

Fozzie could outrage most of NZ by picking Crusaders from 10-14! 🙂
