I didn't know that, I think because I've avoided discussions as I didn't want any spoilers.
They showed some footage from the next one at the end which didn't make me excited about seeing it.

I think you may have seen the remastered and according to James Cameron (at least visually) better version?

I'm a Weta and CGI fan. I even like some of James Cameron's movies and docos.
Avatar was a mickle* of hippie-in-space xenoarchaeological cliches, a borrowed pastiched mess where the CGI outacted the human actors (apart from Weaver and Lang, but they were ingloriously wasted in this movie).*I see your slews and raise you a mickle.

Confess Fletch. The reboot of the Fletch movie series from the 80's with Chevy Chase. Now set in the 2020's staring John Hamm who is perfect in the role. Comedy/mystery with a good plot and lots of laughs. Some great one-liners "maybe someday I will understand sex from behind"

I forgot thats what they called itseen it 1.5 times, couldn't make it through a second time, the CGI was impressive but as someone who plays +20 year old video games if they have a good plot...there is only so long i can watch an add for a computer or TV...in hind site it reminds me of those videos they play in appliance shops to show how good their tvs are
will watch the new one when it turns up on a streaming service

Yeah, I think I only went out of FOMO. I clearly wasn't interested enough to go see it back in 2009.

anyone who watched it in cinemas when it first came out and didn't think it was one of the most visually amazing things they had seen is a lying piece of shit.
Watching it on TV some 13 years later and judging it is not giving the film its fair due.
will i go see the 2nd one? i will absolutely not.
