Farking Frizzel. He's had like one OK game against SA, and loads of anonymous performances, and just continues to get selected. Meanwhile Akira has had multiple MOTM performances and can't get consistent gametime. That just boggles my mind, the only way Akira is going to get more consistent with his performances is by playing him as much as possible. His ceiling is so much higher than Frizzel's it's not even funny.

Is that sarcasm or are you serious?

@ARHS no you’re right, Frizzell has been awesome. I really enjoyed when he subbed on and immediately passed to an Irish player to give up a try. Or as a sub he jogged back on defence and just watched the opposition score. Or got creased by a back in the Argentina game. Just excellent stuff.

    That’s sarcasm.

Neither frizzell nor akira are particularly amazing. From what I’ve seen frizzell shades it but then I’m not a blues supporter. Akira is like one of those lads that tears it up at schoolboy level then never really kicks on. It’s far from a scandal that frizzell has been picked to start.

Richie or Beaudie and Havili comes on and Jordie moves to fullback.

Also give the team & Jordie confidence at 12. if they find things aren't going well at 12, they can slot him back at 15.

@WillieTheWaiter And why I think Frizell will be in team, he carries in close and usually will get over advantage line. Why Barrett is good at 6 I think

    Saturday is counterpoint to that

He had less run metres than runs

Frizell is the modern day Reuben Thorne which isn’t all negative. You need the backrowers who do the dirty work, strong tackles, clean outs etc.

Frizell also I guess will want to make an impression against the land of his father.

I hope Frizell has an awesome game, a game that the selectors and @Dan54 think he has regularly because we need that for the ABs to win. But, he mostly just looks busy but really is not often very effective.

But he's clearly the coaches favourite son, any time he gets injured or bashes and terrorises people, he comes straight back in the moment he's available again.

but he did have a really good game on coming back then went back to mediocre. How annoying!

You can take digs at me all you want Nepia, I think he best of our 6s we got at moment,(maybe apart from Barrett) not always shit hot, I just like a 6 who runs in closer.and just tries to make a metre or so with the pack hopefully close enough to take advantage. We already have Ardie running wider from 8, so we need a tighter 6 I reckon.

Regardless of who gets selected at 6 there's a lot of contenders in the country without a proper world class option at the moment. Been that way since Kaino left.

The hope is that perhaps Jordie is that answer at 12 but we shall see.

Normally I would get up for a 415 match, not too bad a time. But I will get up whenever I wake up and watch delayed, fuck you Foster for what you have done to my team.

    > Saying that, I reckon they'll smash the Welsh, then lose to Scotland. Haven't done two decent (let alone good) games in a row under Foster ever.

Very happy to see Jordie at 12, and apart from Taylor (who has to be the worst AB that is continually picked) I'm happy with the team.

It might have taken him 2 1/2 years, and a lot of injuries, but Foster is starting to select with only a few out of form favourites, rather than a lot

    Go the ALL BLACKS anyway!

    Sigh, here’s hoping

Yep mate, wasn't upset or anything! Yep I like the way the fella, but if bloody Dom Gardiner keps playing like he did this morning I will be on his wagon big time. Think he plays the same style of 6 play, plays fairly tight, good at lineout. That will do me. I will add I not really his biggest fan, just see him as our best option at this stage.
