This video clip shows the barriers being lifted and the bearded lunatic punching a 72 year old woman in the face and breaking her eye socket

@paremata further proof that the IQ of a mob is that of its dumbest member divided by the number of participants.

Hope the hirsute little turd gets identified and charged.

There is zero excuse for him not to charged. That is plain as day assault on an elderly woman.

Needs to be named, shamed & humiliated before having the full law thrown at him.

It will be interesting to see how much the movement embraces / distances itself from him over the next few days.

The thing is damning evidence of this thuggishness has been out there since Saturday.

    And ... ?

An enormous amount of money was raised by gay rights and civil liberties (same funding) groups in the 80s, 90s, and 00s until gay marriage was legalised. Good for them. But those groups needed a new mission or had to disband billions of dollars of money. So, trans rights for everyone was their new move.

So 0.1% of the population is the new "soul of America", and that is exported to everywhere else.

A friend is a plastic surgeon at one of the top university hospitals in California, he has had to refer people to Child Services, because they are so crazy about cutting out 8yo kids breast buds etc. There is so much crazy stuff going now for pre-pubescent children. No serious medical professors want to be involved with the trans shit, so it is dominated by partisans.

Somehow it is now the dominant issue, and if you even question anything you are making them unsafe, and you are actually trying to kill them?

I want to get off this train.

There were plenty of trans rights activists asking for more information about the attack before the full clip came out . They said they needed more context, as if there is any context that can justify that.

As for punishment, the guy I work with was punch in the face in 2021 in a similar manner, .He had to have a plate put in his eye socket and he was off work for months due to the nausea and effects on his vision. It ended up costing him $1000s and contributed to the end of his relationship. The guy that punched him was instructed to pay him $1000 in reparations which 2 years on he hasn't seen a cent of.

To their credit the main left wing blogs here , The standard and the daily blog have not supported the violence. Mostly because they seem to be an older crowd who don't buy into the " your words are violence so I can counter your words with actual violence " nonsense todays extremely online lefties do.

The spinoff on the other hand calls the violence "joyfull and life affirming".

An alternative view of the ‘angry’ protest crowd

The 'chaotic', 'ugly' scenes at the protest were closer to joyful and celebratory.

Todayfm host Tova O'Brein called it a celebration of love our rainbow community . Todayfm shut down on thursday, that sucks for everyone but her that works there.

Just started reading "Time to Think" by Hannah Barnes which exposes the malpractice which went on at the now-closed NHS Tavistock Gender Clinic in London.

As if what went on wasn't bad enough - double mastectomies & kids being prescribed unapproved & virtually untrialled puberty blockers after a single 40 minute consultation - the book was rejected by 22 publishers on the basis that it was "too controversial" and "would be difficult to get it past junior members of staff."

The whole thing is like a slow motion train-crash.

Paediatric Nurse tells me it was known what was happening there for years but critics either shouted down or threatened with being labelled as transphobic and disciplined. More chance of being disciplined for using the wrong pronouns than malpractice in the NHS, apparently.

Why this shit is allowed to cause these harms is beyond me.

Its the same as the lobotomy and worse still the icepick lobotomy , the doctors that did it actually thought they were helping people despite occasionally turning them into zombies . It was so mainstream that JFKs sister Rose had it done and she ended up in care for the rest of her life. We look back on that and think how the hell were people so barbaric ? Look at the situation now with Dr Teetus Deleetus etc,

I think everywhere but here its peaked though, we'll be stuck with activists, media and politicians making dangerous fools of themselves for a few years yet.

To NZs shame this was actually kicked off by a kiwi. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Money

The most famous victim of his experiments https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Reimer

Like a lot of the pro child transition activists he had a lot to say about what I'll refer to as the "reduced age of consent" . Its on his wikipedia page if you want to see what I mean /

"Money argued that media response to Diamond's exposé was due to right-wing media bias"

I continue to be amazed how every alleged childcare scandal is always a right-wing media conspiracy theory - until it's exposed as an actual, real-life, sickening child-abuse scandal which as gone on for years.

The famously right wing British communist party has just spoken out about the lunacy of self id etc https://www.spiked-online.com/2023/03/30/why-capitalism-loves-transgenderism/

One of the reasons I never got into J K Rowlings work was because the only times I ever heard anything about her was when she was being a nauseatingly preachy leftie who was all for things like open borders and retconned one of her main characters into being gay as a troll.

Apparently now she's far right because she opposes self id.

Whatever she said in the past I have a huge amount of respect for her not caving to the mob on this and I enjoy seeing trans activists making a big deal about burning Harry Potter merch they already paid for and getting their Harry Potter related tattoos removed. Apparently getting them removed is far more painful than the actual tattoo.

Guy Pearce on the other hand sent out a press release this week with a grovelling apology that looked like a forced confession from a captured american bomber pilot during the Veit Nam war

@antipodean well, as far as I know, in the media, there's only one person that is openly questioning Leah Thomas's involvement. You would think if they really thought it was unfair, with conviction, they would've en masse not raced her to make a statement. Perhaps it is behind the scenes but their silence indicates timidity to me.
