@Bovidae Maybe the timing is off? I think it coincides with the final rounds of Super 8. Do some other schools comps play at the same time? I might be too much of a disruption.

@Nepia I was thinking of a team of 18 yr olds who had left school and had been identified as potential NZ sevens players. There must be enough of them from the Condors and World Schools Sevens competitions. Some will already be in the NZ sevens programme.
