The trans lobby don’t want dialogue, they want compliance. That article is so riddled with factual inaccuracies and hyperbole it’s impossible to read. The entire thing seems to be a call for people to donate money to organisations to lobby out of sight.

I see the Australian Human Rights Commission have refused to allow a lesbian only event that exclude males. Jesus that’s insane. It seems women’s rights are not human rights

Hard to take anything serious with the misogynist slur Terf in the image.

Is that insane? Would we allow a straight-male-only event, #nohomo?

It’s a good question, given how many traditional men’s places have been forced to admit women, cricket pavilions, golf clubs etc. it presumably is also impossible to have any gatherings of men in Aus without females also insisting a right to attend. Given the history though, I’d suggest that’s less of an issue. I do think men should be allowed places of their own, particularly therapy etc.

@Dodge I was more referring to the “lesbian only” part which implied that straight women were also excluded. Maybe that wasn’t the case?

I’m totally in favour of women’s or men’s only spaces - it’s an interesting step from there though to exclude on sexuality, gets a bit murky!

Ah right, got you. I may be wrong but i don't think they're fighting to not allow straight women, merely would expect that to be a 'self selection' criteria. As you would have thought a Lesbian event would have a natural 'self selection' criteria that means men wouldn't attend. It highlights how mental the situation is IMO

I don't know whether to say "there must be a better way of resolving this sort of stuff" or thinking the bloke is living in cloud cuckoo land

With reporting like that I thought they were Pink News or equivalent.

as much as i think the situation is ridiculous and applaud the women who've boycotted his team, the reality is that he has a point - the FA has created this situation by creating ridiculous rules that suggest there are situations in which men can play in women's football, and in his view, he's met those criteria. We should be shouting at the FA in this situation.

    Understandably inevitable for cricket.

Prime Shoaib Akhtar playing in the WBBL would have been worth the price of admission

    So $5

A Shoaibina or two turning up would be the end of most female grades fairly fast.

Good decision by the ICC. Challenges for the women's game remain growing participation and building depth of talent. While the female game is arguably in some of the best health that it has been, we still have a long way to go. It would be less than ideal to have a proverbial Michelle Starc or a Nina Wagner turning up in the middle of recent progress...

So he was likely Bi and we can now forget about the 4 women he married and all that counts is the one guy he married, all based on texts from the day that historically have been shown to be biased smears on unpopular figures.
