I had thought I had seen Leroy Carter was meant to be with BOP again this year but he is not in the squad announcement. Wonder what he'll end up doing doing once he returns from the Olympics considering there has been some fern rumours about him being Chiefs 2025.

A lot of the younger NZ sevens players end up playing in the NPC. Fineanganofo did too for BOP last year. I expect Cook-Savage will be in the Waikato squad.

I have no issue with it. Apart from Augustine, only the out and out Southland lads would be a shot at making Otago. I'd see a time in the future when the two premier club comps could be combined. Players nominate at the start of the year who they'd like to play for.

He looks to have the tools. Tall, athletic, skilful. Looked test level starting in the ABs opening test in Argie last year.

Just needs to string together games.

@Frank I've seen Lord play live plenty of times, starting from a skinny beanpole in 1st XV rugby and age-group rugby. As @KiwiMurph says, he has all the attributes for an international lock.
