Actually next year off the bench Gotham's sheer pace could be a weapon and I like a bit of R &R as well

We sure could use a superhero or two for this game.

Yes Gotham would be ideal as a pace changer impact player

Ireland, as number 1 side in the world and playing at home, are rightly the bookmakers' favourite to win this one. Form suggests they will win too. Can the All Blacks create an upset?

Beauden Barrett and Codie Taylor failed their HIAs so I assume will be unavailable.

I meant to spell Hotham but he moves too fast for me to get to the H. .

Barring injury, think there'll be little change from the team that played England. Maybe TJP ahead of Ratima. and Roigard to start.

Exceot Hotham doesn't have sheer pace. He's not slow, but speed isn't one of his assets.

@Crazy-Horse yeah I'd pick Roigard as quicker, although that may have changed post injury.

Every time England threatened in our half we gave away a quick penalty. England were content to kick goals, and didn't maintain try line pressure. Ireland won't be content to do that, and will regularly score if we give them that many opportunities.

Can't see why you would play de Groot. He has been poor this year. Underwhelming scrumming, and low impact around the field. Tu'ungufasi was good when he came on and put in some hits.

Proctor's defense was exposed by Japan, the 14th ranked team.

Who do people keep wanting to move Sititi to 8? He’s been absolutely brilliant at 6. Just leave him there.

@Tim Not sure about that, De Groot gave the Poms a torrid time at scrum time earlier in the year
Anyway, I can't see them bringing De Groot back in for this match

8 is Sititi's preferred position. 8 will give him more opportunities with the ball in hand where he is excelling. The All Blacks coaches have said they see him as "an 8 who can cover 6."

Ardie Savea is not playing well at 8. (Cane is now too slow at 7.) Perhaps a return to 7 might start getting the best out of the World Player of Year again?
