Great vid! I had the great pleasure of seeing him when he was over here backing the Chillies . Sadly they had to practically carry the old bugger on stage and he was propped up between 2 guys for the whole set.

Yeah thatâs one I never ticked off the bucket list sadly. He woulda been exceptional.
Back in about 2004/5 from memory. A good 20% of his set was the announcer shouting out âletâs hear it for Mister Jaaaaaames Brownâ over and over again. There was a third act of some Icelandic girl guitar group who were dogshit and got booed at every venue.
By that stage he woulda been living off reputation, nothing more.
Amazing entertainer in his prime though.
Absolutely, but he was still James Brown and I saw him - not sure if I mentioned that.
I can say the same about Prince in 2003. Difference being he was will remain the best live act Iâve EVER seen. Absolutely at the top of his game.
Actually those two had quite a bit in common, both perfectionists, both amazing entertainers, both massive talents ( Prince more so in my opinion ) and apparently both complete arseholes.

I just came across that independently and came to post it!
Incredible - though there's quite a lot of background on the making of it - and apparently involved more than 100 days of skiing/shooting.
