Lucky they have the 6 million dollar man in their side, I'm sure he will easily cover the work of Pocock.

There is more balance in that loose forward trio but Hooper will need to play a little tighter.

Pocock ruled out with a neck injury. Pete Samu replaces him in the starting side.

Looks like the ABs are blamed for the injury 🙄

David Pocock has been ruled out of Saturday’s Brisbane Test with a neck injury.

New Zealand targeted Pocock heavily in the breakdown in their two Bledisloe Tests and the Kiwis’ treatment left the flanker with neck soreness that he is yet to fully shake off.

After the Auckland Bledisloe Test, Pocock could barely move his neck and nearly a fortnight later he is still suffering stiffness amid concerns for his long-term health.

The flanker will be replaced in the starting side by Pete Samu.

It's a fair point, there would ahve been 2 or 3 yellow cards vs ABs if those neck rolls had been done a couple of years ago, when they were the current hobby-horse of the IRB. It seems refs can only have one area to target for cards at a time, high shots as it stands now.

@machpants his neck woulda still hurt though.... 😉

Thing is, when you are at the breakdown the way he is, you are gonna take plenty of legit hits while trying to pilfer the ball.

Not one Aussie journo has commented on Hoopah's neck roll on Ardie or Bonocock's head high on Beauden.

That is strange when they were vociferous in their condemnation about the questionable tactics utilised to unseat McCaw...

Reap what you sow fellas, granted Franks probably should have had a YC, but that wouldnt have stopped the aftermath as it is now.

@taniwharugby I don't have a problem here with either Campo or Hooper comments.

They've lost a player to an injury which wasn't punished, when all World Rugby guidelines suggest it should have been. They have a right to be pissed off.

                          And now Folau is out.

Wallabies fullback Israel Folau has been ruled out of Saturday night's Rugby Championship test against South Africa in Brisbane.

Folau injured his ankle against the All Blacks in Sydney and missed the Wallabies' Auckland test last week, but was on track to return to the side in Brisbane.

However, he pulled up sore on Saturday morning and withdrew from the team, with Dane Haylett-Petty moving to fullback, Jack Maddocks coming onto the wing and Tom Banks making his way into the squad.

Here's where I'm at with rugby right now: wife had proposed a movie night (ala Bled1) and I in no way object.

Someone asked if I was going to Concord this afternoon to watch the NRC. I informed them that cutting Western Sydney Rams basically shat on the enjoyment of the NRC for me, and the Sydney Rays aren't my team so why bother?

Now there will be those who ask how rugby is going to continue if I'm not going to put in my hard-earned time and money to help out.

To them I say: go run an actual grassroots club instead of just paying lip service to the game by fronting up at kickoff and pissing off at or before full time.

THEN you can criticise me. Not before.

THEN you can criticise me. Not before.

                                    Go Wallabies. Whoever you are.

Your attitude sounds like a good mate of mine from S.A. after giving him shit in 2015 for a rather obvious pool game I can't even be bothered poking the bear anymore.

Still, I'll tag @Virgil in case he wants to put the boot in in an anti Aussie way.....

@paekakboyz she's a Kiwi, so I assume it was deliberate, targeted, and she escaped sanction 😉
