Yeah, thinking England 2012 - I was at the club and didn't take that one bad at all, we got outplayed well and truly. Plus when I said we're gonna lose a pom piped up with a bet that he'd get a silver fern tattooed next to the wallaby on his arm (from another bet). I must follow up on that...
My only fond memory of 2007 was walking back to the car thru Cardiff and seeing a drunk twat in an England shirt, taunting any Kiwi he could find, getting decked by a Saffa fan.

Personally think it's a good idea overseas teams use NZ coaches.
Would get pretty boring winning every game against NH teams by 20-30 points all the time....

I remember 2007 , rotation was blamed by some . Still not sure how that lost that game.
Simples. France adapted better to the Ref than we did.
Yeah, amazing that they were able to adapt to a ref that only penalised the other team while ignoring all of their countless indiscretions. They really had to think on their feet there.

Serious question because I can’t remember, Did he penalise us in the second half ?
I was under the impression he just put the whistle away in general under pressure , but it affected us more because we had all the ball .

The penalty count was 10-2, I can't find a half time break down - but we didn't get one in the last 60 minutes from memory? Must have been at least 3-4 in the second half for the French.
A lot is made of the forward pass, or yellow card, but from a purely statistical perspective the odds of having 70% possession/territory and being negative 8 on the penalty count is impossible without incompetent (wilful or not) refereeing.
