@tim said in All Blacks 2021: Imagine Rieko Ioane will get a rest. I couldn't decide there. Was trying to find a back reserve balance. Maybe ALB on the bench but not used unless necessary? All guesswork anyway as we don't know who needs play to keep sharp or who needs a careful build into the last two games.

@taniwharugby said in All Blacks 2021: @tim you'd think Finlay would get a start too, with Webber off the bench. As a ginga he's lucky to be in the squad. A start might set a precedence.

Anybody over here going? Tempted to see if can find a ticket for France somewhere, but it doesn't look cheap. Italy is a bit more bearable, be nice to pop to Rome for a weekend again. I can imagine tickets to the Wales game would be a couple of hundred squid by now, plus the complication of trying to figure out my covid passport. Dublin...yeah nah fuck Dublin.

@tim said in All Blacks 2021: The kick-off times are slightly different for the USA and Italy games, depending on which official website you look at: USA v All Blacks: k/o 8.00am NZT (3.00pm local time) - according to ticketmaster website. Italy v All Blacks: k/o 2.00am NZT (2.00pm local time) - as announced by the Italian Rugby Federation (FIR) last week.

I suspect the French game atmosphere will go someway to easing the pain of the expenses.. what is "powderpuff forwards" in French? Joueurs de poudrière?

A good read this. Ethan is certainly his own man, and hasn't followed the typical path through the rugby system.

thoughts? is a tour the place to get back match fit or would have have been better playing NPC and giving one of the other a few more games in the black jersey?

@machpants really? He is one of two loose forwards who arguably are only fit to be foodbills. Chance wasted to try out more loosies IMO.

@nostrildamus yeah, ive come around too cane being first choice when fit, he was great last year after coming back from injury...but he's no DC/Mccaw/Lomu etc as far as irreplaceable, it does kind of stike me as a time to build more depth, give paps and blackadder more time in the black jersey

There are at least three other 7 options in the squad.
