Come on Foz you got this.
Keep saying that. Worked last time.

Kinda scared not to.

Barring injury, I suspect Foster picks the exact same side other than Telea in for LF
I'd prefer Roigard, but other than that, I'm agreement with him.
@voodoo I'd maybe swap BR and SW about, add Telea and that's about it.
But bench probably more important this week, I know we shouldn't be getting ahead of ourselves, but if we do get to the final, we will need.some gas.

@Canes4life said in RWC SF: All Blacks v Argentina:
Roigard, DMac and Blackadder need to be involved. The question is who do we rest?
Maybe keep Frizzell on ice, do we protect A Smith and does BB come off the pine?
My team would be:
- De Groot
- Taylor
- Lomax
- Barrett
- Whitelock (keep Rettalick fresher for the final by bringing him off the pine)
- Blackadder (keep Frizzell fresh for the final)
- Cane
- Savea
- Smith
- Mo’unga
- Fainganuku
- Barrett
- Ioane
- Jordan
- DMac (Beaudy off the pine)
- Coles
- Williams
- Newell
- Rettalick
- Papali’i
- Roigard
- Barrett
- Leinert-Brown
Christ, not this shit again.
The ABs managed to win a massive game without him. I for one would be pissed off if they shoehorn him in at anyones expense.
Save this claptrap for when Cane has retired.
I can’t believe that with all of the times we have been tripped up by a less favoured side, we still have people saying we should test players for the final.
Have we learned nothing?

Verging into broken clock territory with that one!

Yeah but apparently Ethan Blackadder can walk into the team whenever he feels like it according to some on here.

I think the issue is more about how we manage the A team workload so they are in the best shape for a possible final - particularly Smith - rather than testing players for the final.
Can't see the XV changing much, but there may be a few bench changes

I still remember us having to tough it out against the Argies in 2011. Piri had to bail us out that day

And in 2015 in the first group game.
McGod and Snake got yellow cards. Argentina led for much of the game. ABs won but it wasn’t plain sailing. -

2 more weeks Sir Foz -

It'll be very hard to get back up against Arg see last cup vs England, then eng vs SA.
I think the fact that many of the players and some of the coaching staff have been there before will maybe help. Seems to be a lot of messaging coming out they are aware of falling off and need to get themselves up again straight after an epic win.

I head Dalton Papalii' saying at the end, something to the effect of - We get one more week boys, one more week."
It is drummed into them
-
Beaudie to centre
Vaa’i to blindside
Be up at halftime
Mo’unga to throw long cut out passes
And no worries if our reserve halfback and loose forward have deer in the headlight moments.Sweet as cuz

We would have a day extra before the final than the winner of England and SA though.

Would have been funny if he was heard saying, "We've got those easy-beats Argentina next week"

@Machpants Nobody cares about the "Bronze play-off" final

@Kiwiwomble France crashing our really took away my emotional fallback option.

Really interesting for the neutrals from here - assume they are all going for the Argies as any one of England, Boks or the ABs would probably be unbearable.

Rugby convention to support the team that beat you (maybe it's just in Wales)
So I'll be in the stands shouting for Argentina but my head says NZ will run amok
