I get that, but what I don’t get is that the FIFA world cup is about 8 months away, and it’s being staged across Canada, the states, and Mexico, with about 10 times more fans travelling, and the draw hasn’t been done yet. (I think it’s actually tomorrow).

24 teams is just stupidity, the pool play is just going to be a glorified training session for the big teams.

Ok, there might be some close games between the minnows. But overall no pool jeopardy, very little round of 16 jeopardy.

And use it pretty fucking sharply

Added to that if the defensive team chooses not to compete at a line out thereby allowing the attacking team to throw it in crooked then if the defence drives the maul away from their own try line as soon as the catcher comes to ground and the maul is formed then the attacking team have to ‘use it’
