2. Even now, there are still way too many who think being LGBTQ is a lifestyle. For some, coming out is fine. For others, it's violence and ostracism, some have been killed over it. It can often depend where you live, the beliefs of family/friends etc. Religious fuckwits have caused immeasurable harm to LGBTQ people. Words matter. They fester in hearts and minds, and sometimes provoke action.

It's fine for those who are utterly unaffected to say oh he's just being a piston wristed gibbon, ignore, but it's a bit different when you are in the LGBTQ community and get the slurs and discrimination etc from religious fuckfaces on a regular basis.

If he wants to set himself up for the future knowing that you only have a certain window to command top dollar, I say go for it. He doesn't have anything to prove. He's put in a decent wedge of time to Manawatu and the Chiefs and the AB's.

The keeping the powder dry argument is a crock. You can hold back certain plays without the team looking like a bunch of muppets who have never met each other before. I'm really troubled how a bunch of senior players could all collectively play so bloody badly. One guy having an off day, it happens. Two yeah, ok. But we had five or six. Considering a massive squad was sent away to counteract the fatigue issue, it was alarming to see so many players ambling about. Fitness has always been our thing.

I dunno. Maybe there has been too much experimentation. Especially with the backline and the constantly rotating midfield/first five who really wants to be a fullback/out of sorts starting halfback. We just really seem out of balance, not creating space, not bashing it up, not retaining possession.

@donsteppa Have to say, I've seen nothing from Sam Whitelock last week or this to say yeah that guy is AB captain material. Especially this week. No leadership whatsoever.
