All Blacks 2025

Let's not go down the "Sack Foster - he's the root of all the problems in NZ rugby" road again. We all know how that worked out with Coach Jesus
Take a deep breath, stay calm, identify the problems & their causes and then devise and implement an improvement plan. Maybe some short-term actions - just make sure they aren't kicking cans down the road.

I've never seen Jamie Joseph's sides give up which is definitely one up on Scott Robertson
I've seen shit play and panic, but I've never seen ANY AB coaches side give up. Today was a first.
-
@Victor-Meldrew Which is exactly why I think, with regret, Scott Robertson needs to be shown the door.
He didn't help himself with an appalling post-match press conference as well.
-
Even in the post match presser you can see Robertson looking at Scooter mid question as if to say "can you answer this one for me?".
There is not an Alpha Male "ive got this" vibe off him at all.
You can imagine them all laughing and dancing to music when he walks into the changing room as opposed to the aura an Alex Ferguson would hold, where you would be afraid to even make eye contact.
-
@Tim Needs must, but yeah perhaps Vern Cotter or Warren Gatland or Milton Haig would be a better interim HC until or if Joe Schmidt is available.
What seems obvious to me is that Scott Robertson cannot continue as All Blacks Head Coach. We've reached the end of that road.
-
Has there been any stuff on how the players interact with Robertson? We heard loads of stuff on how Foster worked with the players.
-
@Victor-Meldrew He has overlooked some very bad stuff to recruit players. Would be a huge risk for NZR to have him involved.
No thanks, no way.

These guys should be used to run a slide-rule over the coaches and the team. Find out what's wrong first.

Did you cross-post?

He looks a beaten docket to me.

2011 and 2015 happened because of lessons learned in 2007
I think 2011 happened because of lessons learned in 2009 and how we changed our gameplan in 2010.
2015 was because we largely had consistency and a core group throughout that 2012-2015 period.
@DaGrubster i agree with Snakey. When you look at the overall collection of talent in that 2007 squad, we were loaded. Injuries, disjointed play, rotation and no luck, we’re our downfall.
Yeah, we were our own worst enemies in that World cup.
We had an incredible squad but we conspired to not get our squad in the best shape it could be for that tournament.
And then our nemesis showed up in the wtr final

@jimmyb I've never seen Jamie Joseph's sides give up which is definitely one up on Scott Robertson. We can't have an All Blacks coach who creates a culture where players stop playing for the jersey. He needs to go!
Completely agree. Anyone who thinks JJ is the answer is a fucking moron
-
@Bones when and how do you bring them in given they are not all available?
I think so many of our problems stem from our inability to deal with the ball in the air, puts us under pressure in parts of the field that opposition want us to be playing, and add in how our scrum has struggled v SA, we are never gonna win the battle.
Razor said that they know how much SA value the aerial game and that we had been working hard there...evidence would suggest we haven't and dont value it enough.
