When we win TRC all our problems will be forgotten.

    Is that you, Ian?

Looking at Robertson's selectoring form, I'd say this is just about "his" best team. Don't think he'd be concerned that his captain is "unavailable."

    Is it just me . . .
This is just about the most interesting AB match for me, since i'd say the 2015 WCF.

I've always hated losing to Australia in anything. I can remember Brian McKechnie having no chance with that worm burner.
Having said that I'm glad they're back and playing good rugby. We need them in good form.

This team is stronger than the AB side v SA.
Holland is a ball supply unit, Roigard's defensive kicking ability, PT in good form and Clarke's aerial skills.
Good to see Carter retained on the wing.

The Holland hype train has got to stop. He’s let in two tries in a row with lazy ruck defence

The last one was more being overly eager.

It could be the opposition are using the channel Havilli defends in.

why would they do that I wonder? < Thinks>.

I'm feeling at least as confident as I dd for the last game!

Also we aren't facing RG Snyman. That dude gives me nightmares.

Always a pleasure to have an AB on the fern. Welcome.

I see the TAB has us at $1.16 and Aus at $5. That's some seriously good money on Aus, they are every chance to beat us this weekend and on form should do so. They are banking on the Eden Park record and an Aus mental block to get the ABs home.

That's good money and with good reason. It's a bloody hard place to win for foreign teams. ABs are going to be steaming after the record loss.

The odds might be better for Australia if we had Skelton, Valetini, Wright, and a backup 10 with a decent level of experience.

    Sensible odds I think.

You mean staring helplessly upwards while in a quivering foetal position...

@No-Quarter Valetini is a big loss for them.

Indeed. And two of their best back 3 players are also out.

    No excuses aye Razor….

I’d much rather see a very clinical 24-3 win than a blow out 40 odd to high 20s and leaking tries. See a game plan that is executed with minimal error.

To add to my post above: McDermott has question marks over his ability to start a test. He's been good as a super sub against tired bodies or on the wing - need to see him translate that to Starting Test Scrum Half

    So we are watching :
A functioning lineout: Return of Holland and Taylor's throwing accuracy.
Improving fitness for Lomax, Roigard and Sititi.
    Roigard's kicking
    Proctor's attacking involvement.
Potential changing of the guard with Lakai.
More from Carter, promising so far.
    and Smiling %

For me Quinn Tupaea is also lucky. He showed a lot of promise during Super Rugby but he was disappointing in this RC especially in the last game.

He was one of the players walking in the last 15 minutes.

One of the others has been made captain. Hopefully he tries a bit harder now.

Don’t worry, this is his house (the one with a rather empty trophy cabinet)
