Going through the freezer and I want to use some of what's in there over the next week or so to free up some space.

Today I have just put the following into the oven and it already smells great https://www.eatwell.co.nz/recipe/18088/Curried-sausages/

Also got a whole duck out. Would like to do it "peking" style but need some tips before I go chat to uncle google.

I have a shitload of sausages arriving this weekend so cheers!

I barely deviated from this recipe too(Added chopped garlic to the onions). It is a banging flavour. I did it in a dutch oven dish in the oven, covered at 140C for about 5 hours. Browned the Sausies off first quickly so not to cook through.

Dutch oven, in the kitchen? You disgust me.

OK. The breakfast of kings. Admittedly likely to be a fat king before too long.

    Slice of wholemeal toast
    Smashed avo
3-4 rashers of smoked streaky bacon fried gently in a little olive oil and butter with a large pinch of muscavado sugar until it caramelizes
    Lightly fried egg.

Arrange in that order bottom up. Then eat.

We do that most Sundays but with a poached egg. I leave out the Avo as not a fav with warm food unless in a chicken burger which I wouldn't buy on purpose. So basically I have bacon and eggs and the misses has your version

Ahhh no, I skimmed read your post and missed that. All but that.

I'm being a bit naughty, as I still have some sausage curry from two nights ago. (last nights peking duck was an absolute failure, the only success of it was biffing it in the fire and it heating the room, but I digress)

Due to your post I am now frying off some sliced up bacon and once crispy, I will add the rest of the Sausage curry! GIDDY UP!!!

You do the bacon with the sugar?

You English have such a sweet tooth eh!

Actually saw Ramsey doing that in a video about American breakfast. I highly doubt I'd like it but missus might so will give it a go. I have to make her smashed avo every other weekend.

Doesn't like guacamole though. Go figure.

I got the recipe from Ramsey and adapted it to something with less potatoes. That Seppo breakfast he did looked great and also an advert for angina.
