I've never actually said anything negative about Cane's game today, sans one possibly unfair jab at not calling a dropped goal attempt.
But I'm trying to bring some context to the argument that there isn't an argument for Savea, especially after today.

You're the Muppet (among others) who can't seem to understand I've never said he's not a good player. He may even be the better choice - so long as we're deficient at 6 - due to his defensive abilities. But that doesn't mean he's the better openside flanker.

To be fair to @shark , who seems to be getting smashed from all angles, his argument as I understood it was that Savea is a better 7 than Cane.
Nothing more, nothing less.
So a day when the AB's sucked and Cane played really well at 7 and Savea was average at 8, doesn't really move the dial either way?
