@nepia I've come round and actually think Reece is a quality player, smart and good vision, and cab beat a man, still a douche though (although seeing clips of abs in training and off the park he seems a good dude...but not sure I'll come round to that)

Yeah, I don't really have a problem with Reece's playing in general (he's less prone to defensive lapses these days) but I don't want players in the ABs merely because they lost their overseas contract.

Irish-style bitterness is strong in this one.

Yep remember him spilling one badly in a tackle in first half. Also could have had a try when he popped a no look pass behind him to no one. He was expecting someone to be there but if he had a quick look he would have found Jordie eho would have been a good chance close to the line

I heard match organisers are planning for a delay between the anthems, the time for the South African medical staff to attend to the players with injured vocal cords.

Kind of view Reiko and Will Jordan a bit of the same, a mixture of sloppiness and brilliance. Would love both of them to reduce their error rates and their names should be first on the teamsheet every game.

Expect the first 10 minutes on Saturday to be bloody torrid. The breakdown is going to be a war zone!

It's going to be a big challenge for the reserve front row. Aumua is not as strong a scrummager as Taukei'aho. The jury is still out on Bower and Tuungafasi looks underdone and has had his own problems in the scrum previously.

According to who ? I thought it was just his throwing that wasn’t as good.

He isn't a large hooker by international standards, and the Canes scrum has often struggled. I accept that's not all down to Aumua (or Blackwell 🙂 ). The Boks will bring on a better front row than their starters. I'm happy to be proved wrong.

Marx and Koch aren't as strong at scrummaging as Mbonambi and Malherbe, but the Bomb Squad is an experienced unit.

Aumua and Blower seem a step down, and Patty T is a useless scrummager so the LH side will be seriously tested.

It's clear TWM want to see if they've got what it takes at the highest level, and hoping any deficiencies won't be fatal.

Likewise, Reece gets chance to see if he can cope with bombs at this level.

Can't really fault the starting 15.

But Malherbe isn't playing so Nyakane is switching to the TH side. The SA starting front row for this test isn't as good as last weeks.

Controversial opinon here, but I'm not convinced that Weber will be an improvement on TJP. We know that coming on against tired legs makes a halfback look better, and we've seen this back to the Marshall/Kelleher days. TJP is a quality halfback, who sometimes struggles to get his passes right.

That said, when he focusses on getting to the ruck and clearacne, he looks just fine ... and then brings a lot to the table.

So, I wouldn't be surprised if we're stoked to see TJ come on with 20ish to go ... and if Weber doesn't look quite as good against a fresh Bok pack.

Obviously hope to be proved wrong, and BW plays an absolute blinder!

Weber doesn’t get as emotionally involved as TJ does. When TJ is wound up and/or frustrated it shows.

Perhaps the Springboks may like to come and play rugby this weekend. If they do, it should be a good match in between all the little recovery "injuries'.

Weber can be an absolute liability, Chiefs fans will attest to that. But at the moment TJP is taking multiple steps looking for runners before passing, which we just can't afford against a rush defense. If Weber can just get to the ruck and clear it without those delays then our backline will be much better for it.

In terms or accuracy of pass, both are about the same - they spray it all over the shop.

He will have any easier job than last week if we clean the boks out of our breakdowns
