We were up against a crowd who were so joyous and having fun. ABs were nervous, consigned to the fact they were going to be criticised. I don't care if they lose again this year. I want them to free up and have some fun

      Here they are for you
https://www.nzrugby.co.nz/about-nzr/governance/our-board/#:~:text=Our Board is charged with setting strategy%2C direction,be made by a vote of the Board.

Not sure if the problem is solely with that lot but maybe in the paid employees headed by Mr. Robinson and including the panel that appointed the Head Coach

Would that have mattered? They did it to us in 04. Up until last night that 2004 match was my lowest point as far as AB performances go against the Boks.

Foster and co eclipsing all sorts of low moments 😀

This. We were lucky they stuffed up several times with opportunities beckoning.

At least there is no danger of peaking between World Cups this time around.

Not at all, according to foster this was our best performance of the year, all downhill to the RWC now

“I know people are frustrated, and we’re frustrated with the results,” he added, “But you don’t achieve growth if you get too panicky and start making dramatic changes and put too much pressure on players. We want them to feel the pressure tonight, understand what it’s like playing test matches over here, and we’ve got to be sharper in what we do

@Machpants TBF most improved* performance is different to saying it was our best (or did he say that too?)

Foster is an obvious example that if you take a sub-par leader of a group, eventually that group will start to fall apart and standards will slip. A rabble ensues. That is exactly what we have become.

It is quite telling that a notable area of improvement was our maul defense - which Jason Ryan is in charge of.

I think the players have lost faith in Fozzie and have lost, or are losing, confidence in themselves.

@Winger Wonder if Wayne Smith might be brought him for a consulting role of some kind. Surely the coaching transition is already in place.

I would appoint Robertson and let him decide re smith. But he might have his hands full
