All Blacks 2023

We have a gap at 7 which would fit Blackadder. Cane and Dalton are both not really up to it. Despite people seeming to have strong opinions either way, they're both kinda the same player and mediocre as far as the great history of the black 7 goes. Blackadder is too small for 6 really, but our options there are a bit shit too: Frizzel of the one good game, and Barrett the lock. Then the balance problem is exacerbated by having Savea 'wow what leg drive that's gained a metre post contact and made for slow ball that we can't do fuck all with' at 8.
Put Blackadder and Finau in, then at least we wouldn't want for fellas throwing themselves into it. Fuck it why not put Sotutu in too. if you're gonna have an 8 who doesn't do the hard yards why not have one who can genuinely run and pass like a back.

In the head to head game in Hamilton, Papalii had a huge game, and the Blues dominated possession and territory in the 2nd half. They also played the dumbest rugby that I have ever seen, and Beauden Barrett kicked the ball away so much that it should have been made a capital crime in the NZ criminal code. Christ, the number of penalties in the 22 they took as scrums.

@Machpants i dont know how to respond...we've seen the fern pattern on the jersey during RC games and had this discussion on the forum before, consensus being up close still obvious but cant really see it at any distance......

found a good pic....its the same jersey. to reiterate my feelings....ive gone from thinking it looks like a hawaiian shirt...to just thinking it looks a bit boring and cheap

Ardie at 7 with a big 6 and big 8 who could both carry the ball would be awesome - unfortunately we just don't have either of those players - well Frizzel but he's only just come into form.
Our loose forward trio really lacks size.

So we hear tonight if Jordie is going to play? I think it will be Havili if he out, RMo is comfortable with him and Ioane has played a few tests with him, so is obvious replacement to me.
